Got to avenge that December shit show
Paul Tierney may be stood down on Sunday as VAR if the alleged fuck up in the dipper derby (ie not recommending an on field review of Tarkowski's challenge on McCallister) is as bad as the media are making out. I haven’t seen it so can’t be certain but the media reports seem pretty damning.Referee: John Brooks Assistants: Simon Bennett, Dan Robathan. Fourth official: Tony Harrington. VAR:Paul Tierney. Assistant VAR: Tim Wood.
We all know what the rags will do, sit in and hit us on the break, which is why I think Khusanov's recovery pace will be crucialI like this team but it's a bit narrow so i'd play Nunes at RB. He's doing alright and i think he gives us a better option down the right than Khus and with O'Reilly they'll be our primary width.
But we're playing a lot better, players are coming into form and we have a lot of options now, so it'll interesting to see who Pep picks.
Whoever he plays i think we'll win, well!
3-1 to us.
COME ON CITY!!!!
The trouble is 'waspish' ... with only eight league games left, and Newcastle, Villa and Chelsea not letting up, we need to start winning these games now, because draws may not be enough at this late stage of the season .... we can only look after ourselves of course, and affect our own results, but we need to start really imposing ourselves on our opponents now, and 'digging out' out winning results any way that we can, even if we aren't at our best ..... a lot of possession is only any good IF something good or positive comes from it!Amorim is another parked bus merchant like ten Bob was difference is he is better with his image his talking in the media!
Be honest be tough game id settle for a draw personally because of there transition and the way any ball they get will be flipped over our back line down the wings with there runners! We probably have 65/70% possession!
I have seen nothing yet to think we are capable of finishing in the top five, that display last night just added to the feeling. If Chelsea win tonight and Newcastle hypothetically win their game in hand against Palace we are in 6th before we even play at weekend.
Were we to lose and both Chelsea and Newcastle win at weekend we will be 4 points behind Chelsea and potentially 5 behind Newcastle.
It cannot be underrated just how big this game is for us. I don't care if we get every decision under the sun given to us, we have to do whatever it takes to win.

The likelihood is that we are in a battle for 4th or 5th place here, and we are definitely gonna have to 'scrap' for it, and show the desire to want it!
Correct. Said all along we will end up 7th. Last night was terrible with the team still showing zero intent to move the ball quicker. Another game, another change of system this time with the wide men disappointing. Sunday will be another tactical change with KDB, Bernie and Foden returning.I have seen nothing yet to think we are capable of finishing in the top five, that display last night just added to the feeling.
Our standards have dropped alarmingly this season, and injuries are partly to blame. But the drop off in form by Phil Foden has concerned me the most.
Yes, on Tuesday.People had tickets sent yet?
