Parking like a tw@

Try driving around a rural town over here. Double parking abounds. But hey; the gobshite(s) reckon that if they stick the hazard lights on, that okays it. And anyway; "sure, I was only in the shop for a couple of minutes. No harm done"

I once knew a bloke who deliberately parked across two spaces so that there would be sufficient space either side that people wouldn't dent his car when opening their doors etc - the irony was he was my IAM instructor/observer !

On Union Street in Oldham there are many cars parked daily with all 4 wheels on the pavement. To the point that, as a pedestrian, you have to walk around them. And sometimes they move the car on the pavement when you are trying to do so.
I've complained to the council who did absolutely eff all, apart from saying "we will monitor it as resources allow"

There's loads of roads like that in south Manc, princess parkway, Kingsway etc, all the houses have driveways but they just park on the path, see very few of the driveways been used for parking cars

I'll never forget driving into work in the snow one day. Got to the car park which was completely covered in snow and carefully parked up at the end of a row of cars that were already there. Fast forward to the end of the day, the snow had cleared and I got back to find my car sat on its own, perfectly straddling 4 spaces. I was mortified.
