My goat. PL goat. Era defining player. Game changer. League winner. He was inevitable. He is eternal.

Klopp's quote sums it up. "Kevin De Bruyne is warming up and the whole country is starting to shake." The Boogeyman for our rivals.

Deservedly Kev should be classed amongst our icons past and present. Although his decline has been ongoing there is no doubt he hasn't spoiled his legacy at City by sticking around. Hopefully we have another potential superstar signing lined up in the summer.

What a player Kev has been for us, I'm gutted at the news. He can score with his left foot, right foot and made the game look so easy which is the mark of a truly wonderful player. The guys an absolute legend for what he has done for our club and will be truly missed that's for sure. The stoke at home game sticks in my mind, absolutely unplayable that day. Thanks for the memories Kev.

Whilst David Silva will remain my favourite City player, KDB is undoubtedly the best. The best midfielder in transition, I have ever seen. There's absolutely no wastage in his movement, always makes the correct pass and he makes it look so simple and efficient. I don't think he was as good a tempo setter as Silva but as a creator, he is unsurpassed.

He's given us his best years and delivered so much. Sad to see him depart, with injuries limiting him.

KDB King of the Premier League assist? | His best for Man City!
Don’t know if that link will work, if not Sky have just put up some of his best assists.

Edit: it doesn’t work. The official premier league site also has his goals on right now.

Glad he’s being made a big deal of today after this announcement. The comments from other fans, some even main rivals have nothing but good to say about him.

Not unexpected but still hard to take in.
Definitely one of the Premier Leagues best ever players.
Such a fantastic passer of the ball..and set the tempo of our performances so often.
It's been a privilege and a pleasure to watch the Ginger Prince..
Good luck Kev and thank you for the memories.. hopefully we win the F.A.Cup for him.
