All that's happened is that the statement of case we provided in January has now been passed to the other clubs, and - quelle surprise - it ended up being leaked.

This is for the other thread really, but I presume it was City who leaked this time with Keegan and Lawton breaking the story.

Lawton brokethe first APT story IIRC, and there was speculation that the leak came from Arsenal because an exec there was married to another journalist at The Times.

You're right in that this looks more likely to have come from City, especially with Keegan breaking the story too, but again when the first APT decision came out Lawton and Keegan tweeted it within a minute of each other.

But as you say, probably for the other thread!

That's a good summary, of course. But still ..... you know what I am going to say, so I won't say it.

But what would a settlement look like in your view? It's the PL that needs to settle, so what could they offer?

Its basically what you have said consistently on TS Stefan. I was very impressed by the Bullseye reference fwiw.
I fear that the breakdown in relationships is very deep though. Hopefully if and when we are cleared of the most serious of the 115/130 charges there will be a regime change at the PL and a different relationship between them and the clubs because it really can't continue like this.
