A fantastic footballer & such a great professional on & off the pitch.
For me the best midfielder I’ve ever seen play for City & the best midfielder the premier league has seen.
So thank you Kevin for the all memories & everything you’ve done for the club & fans.

The greatest player I've ever seen in a City shirt. He gave everything to ensure we won that treble and just an utterly brilliant player and person. I think it's the right time, but so thankful we had him at our club for as long as we did.

I think the three statues of DSilva, Kompany and Agüero have been positioned where they have on purpose, leaving a space for De Bruyne’s just to the left of the East Stand entrance :

Good call, but there is also the possibility of putting it in the new fan zone.

Ha. I meant statue. I hope not. Otherwise where does it end? Thise three that are there now are there for a reason. Not so much what they won, but what they did at the start. Anyone who came after that shouldn’t get a statue in my opinion.

As a blue I feel truly blessed to have seen some of the best midfelders to have plied their trade on English grounds.

As a child I watched Colin Bell, . I think he is truly incomparable to anyone now. I mean that in the literal sense that you can't and shouldn't compare them rather than that he was definitely better or worse. Football was played with different balls on different pitches with different opponents. I was fourteen when he was injured by Buchan and I loved watching him but was probably seeing him through a child's eyes and cannot really accurately assess his abilities.

Since 2009 we have had four midfielders all of whom could at one time be considered to be the best in that time in the premiership. Toure, Silva, Rodri and deBruyne. Two others not that far behind in Gundogan and Fernandinho.

It is really difficult to put into an order four players with such different skill sets as those four and though they didn't play at the same time at the height of their powers if they had it would I believe be the best midfield ever. I am not going to argue with anyone who has a different favourite to myself but De Bruyne is mine and I'm so grateful that nowadays we can watch his many moments of magic again and again on You tube. My seat at the ground was in a line and just behind him where he played that pass for Sane in the Stoke game as he hit it I could not see any pass on and my jaw dropped as I saw Sane moving onto it. Just one of the many fantastic moments from a fantastic player. I hope we can all give him the roar he deserves every time he plays till the end of the season.

the club should actually give a season ticket to 'chickaroon'
That's very sweet of you but I probably couldn't make it every two weeks. You know what, I have seen all the greats play, going back to Trautman. I never thought I would see the success that we have had over the past years. It has been a wonderful experience to see all the joy our fabulous players in blue shirts have brought. The proudest I have ever been watching City, was the demolition of Real Madrid. We were perfection that night. Just WOW!
