There’s a larger gap in terms of league table placings but the gap in quality between the two sides is closer now than it was when we finished 1st and they finished 2nd in 2017-18.

We’ve been so inconsistent this season that you never know if it’s going to be a cracking performance, a flat performance or an awful performance from us.

More pressure on us in this one n’all due to us chasing the Top 5 places for CL football next season, with them having nowt to play for.

It’ll be interesting to see how the new signings play n’all with this being their first ever derby.

One thing that could work in our favour is their season is now down to the Europa Cup and they play on Thursday. Whilst they do have a free hit in their position against us, I doubt any of them want to risk injury. Having said that City do have a habit for looking a gift horse in the mouth.
