I guess we've gone for more of a control starting 11 and hoping Foden and KdB can manage to create some chances.
Personally would have liked to see Gonzalez start in place of Kovacic and Grealish instead of Foden but it's not a bad side. Worked ok 2nd half vs Bournemouth.
Gundogan has been better of late and KDB seemed to have found a bit more energy last time out, so I can understand why he would start them. I would have thought he'd have Gonzalez alongside them instead of Kovacic but he knows the fitness levels and Kovacic has had a bit of a rest.
Not surprised to see Doku and Savinho on the bench for this one. Some good options from the bench if needed.
Looks like we might see a fair bit of rotation until the end of the season (where possible) to try and keep players fresh for the CWC.
