President Trump

There really is no comparison, as much as I think Johnson is a ****.

I'm inclined to agree, unfortunately. Johnson is different - for a start he is capable of a cogent thought and can string a sentence together. Also, he actually understands the inner plumbings of state - as he was educated in it from a young age by virtue of his privilege. I'm not one of these people who thinks he's some secret genius, I think the man's a fool.

I guess one way of summing it up - I think I could have a discussion with Boris Johnson but under the understanding he is a conniving human being. I couldn't discuss a thing with Trump, it would be like talking to a five-year-old who thinks the moon is made of cheese. He's a fucking moron.

Had that been a UK politician, they would have been defined by that moment for the rest of their lives.
Or, to be fair to the States - any other President
What must (should) make any veteran cringe is when he gets off a plane/helicopter and salutes the guards, what with him and his bone spurs an all…

Yep - you shouldn't be able to say the phrases '5-time draft dodger' and 'Commander-in-Chief' in the same sentence.

If they should enter another war while he's there, it's not difficult to imagine him dictating tactics to the life-long military guys, is it? From afar, of course...

The Access Hollywood tape where he admitted sexual assault and played it off as 'locker room talk' should have been the end of him. That was before the 2015 election. It says a lot about the character of the people who vote for him.
And this along with the sexual assault allegations is why, for the life of me, I do not understand any women voting for him

Any woman that did has absolutely no morals

It's a long list tbf, any woman, any gay/lgbtq, any hispanic, and black person voting for him is showing a distinct lack of personal awareness at the very least (I'm being polite)

I don't think this will go down well with the veteran's either (if they ever see it...though quite a few USA social media sites are running it)

The “Hands off” protest against Trump yesterday attracted large crowds to well over 1,000 towns and cities in every state. There were also protests in UK, France and Germany.
In the major cities like Boston, New York and Washington the crowds were enormous.
Some funny placards were carried. I particularly like the little old lady who carried a sign saying:
‘I’d call him a ****, but he has neither depth nor warmth.’
Of course this is only the beginning. Protests must be followed by more protests until a massive momentum has been built up.
All the protests were peaceful; may they stay that way.
