Our current team to get us the FA Cup and 4th place.

Ederson, Khosavich, Dias, Ricci, GVARDIOL

Nuno G, Kovacic, McAtee,

Bobb, Echeverry, Mahmoush

That team should at least have more desire than the bunch that played today.

That's not me saying he's rubbish, or anything over the top, its just clear that he's in the group of players that's a level or two below what we have been used to.

Same with Savinho, I admire your optimism, I just can't take mylsef to a place where I imagine these players playing regularly and us winning lots of titles.

Disagree. Omar is better than Jesus and Alvarez who both won lots with us.
But it's all about opinions

Could've started Gonzalez, Grealish and Bernardo in the middle with Doku and Savinho out wide.

Yoerfectly valid offence taken.

I wouls have played khush at rb, pushed up Nunes to RW. He has been decemt there, then Savinho or Doku on the other wing. Imwould have dropped Kova and played Nico G. Improbably would have played Jack instead of Kdb as well.

We need to be braver and by having Khush with his pace at the back we can push up wingers to create more space.

This line up had no one to attack the channels, no one on the counter, no over lap, just dull tiki tiki. God I miss Keegan’s football we exposed upour selves then but at least we always tried to attack. Here we just play hogh but to what point we put them under no pressure and
Eave ourselves open on the counter.

Pep did what many of us have wanted him to do over the years and that's be pragmatic.

A useful point for City. Win our home games and draw away. That will be good enough.

I do wonder though how we are going to break Palace down. We can't start KDB and Gundogan again.
 
Poor performance without question , clearly too many players not up to what is needed to be in the hunt again and Pep has clearly lost his ability to manage us well now.

Many changes needed over the summer whether we manage top 5 or not and given how we played all season top 5 looks remote at best.

Pep played Grealish, Doku and Savinho on Wednesday and also got slated.

I've seen every combination of players slated on here this season.

Ultimately, he trusted and will continue to trust his senior players to get us European football, doesn't think away at Old Trafford is the time or place to start chucking the kitchen sink on tactics or players we've not trained with all season, and settled for a point. It is what it is.

I'm glad cooler heads prevail in the dressing room than the reactionary stuff I see on here after every dropped point.
 
In defence of today's performance.

Name another match you have watched where within minutes (2?) Of the kick off the ref books one of your best defenders and then......
Within 45 seconds after the kick off for the second half books another one of your players.
IMO the ref made a statement to our lads and this was born out by a Sky stat showing they won 75% of the duels.

Talk about levelling up.
 
I honestly can’t wait for this shit season to be over. Two dog shit teams that deserve fuck all, but the most annoying thing is that the holy trinity of wank (this season) of gundo, Bernardo and kova again started in a big game and failed to do anything. Compounded by Foden and kdb being completely off form, we all saw this result coming. A couple subs early on would have got us a win against a shite team but we just need rid of the season tbf.
