especially the ones with very different playing system to ours. someone looking good in a defensive counterattacking side with his pace and aggression would be nothing similar in our slow build up play with little chance for counterattacks vs a packed bus.

I don’t think we’re getting Wirtz. But if the back up option is Morgan Gibbs White then we are in more trouble than I thought.

Doubt it tbh, look at the names we're linked with, only Wirtz would need to be persuaded to take the chance imo. Rest would move anyway from the names so far.

Why woud we go for a player who plays in a team that plays the exact opposite of the way we play....Forest are a transition based team - watch the highlights above...never once is Gibbs-white/forest playing against a 10 man low block defence....

He is not what we need unless we are going to play in a style that is completely alien to Pep.

exactly, look at the names we are linked with ...Wharton, Gibbs-White!!

if we are going from the likes of Gundo, KDB and Bernardo to the likes of those 2 then we may as well forget CL football or winning anything in the next few years.
