Suspect they'll go on and win it now. They'll have momentum after something like that and from what i've seen of the others, i'm not convinced.

No, toughest place to play when you're stuck in your half is City away (this season aside) so I reckon we'll be alright and can park a big London bus if needed. Arsenal are probably one of the last sides you'd want to be 3-0 down to as we'll just make the game stop-start.
Like an Arteta wet dream having 90 minutes to waste time, feign injuries and have his little tactical team talks to waste a few more minutes. That being said, if there's one team ill enjoy watching that against its fucking Madrid.

UEFA won't be happy though after last night so id expect some fucked up decisions next week.

How many times has everyone thought over the years that we'd go onto win the competition and failed to do so, All be it numerous times on away goals we have gone out but games the whole world thought we'd win.

Knockout competitions are a **** to win as having an off night can see you go out.

Emotional reaction maybe. Rather irksome that they look so good in their first tournament in years when it took us forever to even get close.

One thing with Arsenal is they love the dark arts divers galore won free kicks bag two free kicks that's how to beat Madrid!

As a club we are soft kunts on and of the field on the field we don't do dark arts we to honest of the pitch as a club we take all the bias in the media and make them a five course meal!

I agree and assume sporting integrity on the pitch is a top down edict which makes it ironic that we are maligned as cheats.
Second leg may be worth watching if Madrid get an early goal

It's massive pressure, We were beaten by Chelsea in the final years ago and we were so nervous, Also team selection was wrong that didn't help.

Against Inter Milan we were nervous too, Inter could and should have scored to make it 1-1 on a couple of occasions.

Arsenal will be incredibly nervous if they get to that stage, This tie should really be over although I wouldn't be surprised to see dodgy decisions go in Madrid favour as all it takes is a red card or dubious penalty to get them back into it.

Don't get me wrong they were really good last night and should have won by more, It would be silly for anyone to think that this tie is completely over.

The real hard work is not beating Real Madrid at home; it's winning the tie and then proving you're good enough by winning the whole thing. Beating Madrid only gets you into the next round and another two games.

Yes, enjoy the win but it's not the final battle in the war, beware of the wounded beast. Killing it is another thing

We shall see, but trust me if you let them get on a roll they can turn you over in a 20 minute spell.

Giddy Tarquin's should STFU and learn our lessons from the amounts of times we thought we'd beaten them.
We never had a 3 goal lead to protect against them tbf.

They do still have a job to do next week but that's a hell of a result for them last night. I've ripped the gooners plenty for begging for respect without doing anything to earn it. That result deserves major kudos.

Some Arsenal fans will.

I wont. Majority of Arsenal fans are level headed and not the headcases so many think we are. Arteta is the best fit for Arsenal and there is zero chance of a movement within the Arsenal fanbase calling for his removal.
Ok but i bet money on that of you fail again thisseason then there will be Arsenal fans calling for his head.

And in all honesty Arsenal will be all over the shithouse tactics and i dont blame them

I think the issue for Real Madrid is their defence. They can get 3 goals, but can they keep a cleansheet? I think we score at least once which means they will need to score 4 on the night to force extra time
