Maybe it's just me, but I feel more comfortable playing a team that hasn't lost for ages than a team that hasn't won for ages. Sets me on edge when I hear a commentator say '"so-and-so hasn't scored for over 12 months". I know what's coming.
Yep - I hate it when I see a player I've slagged off as useless coming on against us with 10 minutes left in a tight game...

I think the first signs of unrest might be felt on Saturday if we don't beat Palace and put in another poor performance
If we set up as though we are going for all 3, then maybe - but if the lineup shouts 'going for a draw', then definitely. And deservedly so.

I genuinely think that one of the few positives this season has been the removal of a lot of these types of records. Nothing worse than going into a crucial game in a title run-in and hearing the commentator say something like 'City haven't lost to X since 2011' or X haven't scored a goal against City in the past 7 occassions....'. This year has allowed us to have a bit of an amnesty on those things!

That reminds me of when I was driving to the Palace game (Townsend screamer) and the radio was going on about some fantastic home winning run. I just knew it was about to end!

I would add Khusanov in for the threat of Mateta.

Ederson; Khusanov Dias Gvardiol O’Reilly; Nico G Kovacic (meh) Savinho Grealish Doku; Marmoush
I don't think it matters what line-up we have. It's like
rearranging the deckchars on the Titanic.
let's face it, the squad needs a radical overhaul and we aren't going to get anywhere with this bunch.
They've lost their mojo and we're paying the price for not replacing fading players with class ones, like we used to.
Rodri's return isn't going to solve anything.

Bit off topic but could I transfer 2 tickets to the same person ( supporter number)??
Yes you can have more than one ticket for the same game in a Google wallet.

It's a long boring story but I ended up with mine & my mates in my wallet for the Salford game....had to go to 2 entrances as they weren't together and 'bleep' him in first.

No idea how were going to score against these. Best defence in the league on current form.

Ederson
Nunes
Khusanov
Dias
Gvardiol
Gonzales
Kovacic
Mcatee
Savinho
Doku
Marmoush

Khusanov with his pace comes back in against a fast counter attacking palace front 3. Gvardiol back to full back to offer us something going forward. Kdb can't do 90 minutes and should be a bench option, foden has somehow been even worse so give mcatee a go as the 10, he actually offers a goal threat at least. Tempted to throw bobb straight in but probably a bit too soon for that so that front 3 and hope that one of them can pull something out of their arse from nothing as I don't see any gameplan breaking them down it'll be individual brilliance that we rely entirely on here.

Bottom 3 play brighton villa and Chelsea this weekend so expect all those teams to get comfortable wins this weekend and for newcastle to beat united which makes a result here imperative. we'll still have a big fixture advatange for the remaining games after this weekend but it will start to look grim if we're too far off.

We’re going to have to be right at it against these.

They haven’t lost an away match since 18th December against Arsenal in the EFL Cup. And haven’t lost an away PL match since 28th September against Everton.

Doesn' t make great reading for City fans, Palace are more than capable, that's for sure ...... it's just down to who defends better, and 'who wants the win more', by the look of it.

They lost at Forest in late October, but that is still 10 unbeaten on the road in the league.

I think they look solid if unspectacular, but that's been enough to worry us this season. I am hopeful for a squeaky 1-0 but i can't see a joyous outpouring of exhibition football, it's just a season to get through the best as possible!

I don’t think that would happen. This time next year if it’s still the same, maybe. But the fans will remain behind the manager and players at this moment in time.

Gone for a win - although feck knows where the goals will come from currently.
They're well set-up and very organised - and let's face it we've struggled all season against that sort of team.
Fingers crossed!!!!

Random one but let me know if anyone is driving to the game from Edinburgh! Would be very happy to provide $$ for a lift
