Be positive? The only positive I can see is at least we can do some cool away trips in the europa league
But….but he’s the greatest manager we’ve ever had!!!!This. I'm honestly losing faith in Pep and think if we don't qualify for the CL it might be time for him to move on.
Line ups like this look like he's completely lost what he is trying to achieve.
Call me a wet wipe but we're 6th and struggling and so some of that wipe wipeness has actually proved to be accurate.
What an utterly shocking team. That is not "going for it"
Palace will be 2 up by then!Clutching at straws, but maybe the plan is to wear them out by keeping possession in the heat, then bring up Doku and Savinho in the second half when the game is stretched.
At least they create. You can’t ask for wingers that are output machines without them being able to lose the ball. We are going to watch dire attacking play againmaybe cause our wide players produce fuck all and give the ball away.....
I love Doku but we get countered on more with him in the tea,...same as Sav
Unless we’re playing in Qatar I don’t think 12.30 in Manchester is going to do the trick!Clutching at straws, but maybe the plan is to wear them out by keeping possession in the heat, then bring up Doku and Savinho in the second half when the game is stretched.
Guessing he’s going for this…
Has to be our slowest 11 full stop when you look at the midfield.Side note. Is that the slowest back 4 we've ever fielded? Palace's pacy front 3 will be licking their lips at that, Eze and Sarr against 2 midfielders in Lewis and O'reilly is frightening
On a positive note, the Nico, Rico and Nico trifecta are back and in a perfect triangle too. One 1 word chant to cover 3 players is top class efficiency.
I'd rather finish outside qualification for Amy other European cup other than the CL.Maybe Pep wants us play on Thursday nights next season………the way we are going we might even struggle with that
He's so slow now that the ice cream would have melted all over his hand by the time he had got around to sticking the flake in.Any chance of Gundo rolling back the years and cracking the ice cream van out?
Where do the goals come from ever if Haaland aint playing.....That's a piss poor like up.
Can't see where the goals are coming from.
Will be a long afternoon.
Me too. It’s a shocker.I needed to read this lineup 3x
They don’t produce anything because we rather pass the ball around until the oppositions defense is set and then give the ball to either of them who are supposed to beat 1vs2/3 on the regular with no overlapping fullback. Have you ever seen a club wasting wingers like ours? Look at PSG. They don’t play this inverted Fullback thing. Their fullbacks actually help their wingers as good as they already are. Half of the squad of PSG wouldn’t start for City because they ain’t ready or can’t be trusted. Zaire-Emery and Neves and Doue are great examples that wouldn’t make it here. At least not for now.maybe cause our wide players produce fuck all and give the ball away.....
I love Doku but we get countered on more with him in the tea,...same as Sav
Logical and maybe he wants to give starting minutes to all before big decisions are made in the summerClutching at straws, but maybe the plan is to wear them out by keeping possession in the heat, then bring up Doku and Savinho in the second half when the game is stretched.
It’s not cool to say it, but sometimes I think Pep enjoys hurting himself and us too.Me too. It’s a shocker.
And?Uncs in midfield again.
Swap Haaland for one player today and he still isn't scoring.Where do the goals come from ever if Haaland aint playing.....
Marmoush is there...
It aint like Doku or Sav (esp) are goal machines!!!
