Could've had a hattrick, but it's understandable he missed a couple considering he's barely played all season, run and finish for the goal, he'll probably be on the bench again though the next couple of games which isn't a problem, the problem is Pep rarely gives subs enough time to make an impact, that is if he makes subs to begin with.

Well Marmoush was clearly fouled for his first big chance, should've been a pen.it’s weird that Marmoush gets away with missing two far bigger chances than McAtee (and that’s not a dig at Marmoush, he was great today). Just seems that our academy players are held to an impossibly high standard at times

Obviously the chances he missed were poor but other than that and the wayward cross in the first min or so, I thought he had a great game. Very involved, good movement.

Should have had 3 goals, 2 really poor misses but it's not like he was the only one guilty of bad misses. He's eventually got his goal which was wonderfully taken and yet again he's made a tangible impact. He's sadly not going to take a game and dominate it, he lacks that in his game but he is a goal threat and should be afforded more chances. Good game for him, really hope we get him on a new contract and keep him around, we need a full squad and there's not an abundance of over aged academy graduates to fit into the squad so no reason not to keep him around unless he decides to want out.

I actually think that if the defender had dived in with a failed attempt to tackle Marmoush, we may have got the pen. If the referee gives a penalty for the pull on the arm then the red card dilemma kicks in. Feels like the was too big a decision for a referee of Gillet’s stature to make.

Agree. Watching him live-yes he was quiet in spells but his movemenet and awareness is top class-deserved his goal and brought out the flip!Best movement off the ball since prime Gundogan. Pep os definitely gonna keep him.
