Did Badenoch start by saying they had an oven ready deal when they called a snap election then end by saying the deal was still being negotiated?

Humiliated Kemi Bandeoch forced to admit claim about British Steel wasn't true
Tory leader Kemi Badenoch had claimed she had "negotiated a modernisation plan" with British Steel - but under questioning from Business secretary Jonathan Reynolds, she was forced to admit no deal was on the tablewww.mirror.co.uk
I did hear her right, more or less.
What could have been a bit of Parliamentary unity ends with her saying Labour MPs were enjoying her claiming to have negotiated a deal then admitting she hadn't.
Yeh but he’s two tier Keir who let Jimmy Savile get away with it and personally froze your grandma to death as well as locking up patriots for tweeting whilst letting grooming gangs off the hook.Minimum wage up.
Pensions up.

Just saving a few people a job.
silly mare suggests that you can negotiate without making proposals of your own. Thats not negotiation thats capitulation granting the other side all their wishes. Also if her alternative version of reality were true then they were acting illegally as there should be minutes of the meeting

The thinness of this gruel will be apparent to you in time ...Minimum wage up.

Good to see them waking up to the security issue of controling our own steel production - just happens to be nice and socialist too in terms of nationalisation! :-)Weird, Labour party members laughed when Plaid suggested nationalising steel to save Port Talbot.
You can admit you were wrong, it happens. If you say so.
I hold my hands up. I didn’t recognise the intent of your somewhat badly worded post. Now that I’ve read it again I admit I was wrong. Hope it makes you feel better even though it’s far from clear that it was factual. You can admit you were wrong, it happens.
I'm not sure it counts if it comes with that level of bitterness but I'll take it;-)I hold my hands up. I didn’t recognise the intent of your somewhat badly worded post. But I doubt anybody gives a shit.
You’re welcomeI'm not sure it counts if it comes with that level of bitterness but I'll take it;-)
Like water off a duck’s back…I'm not sure it counts if it comes with that level of bitterness but I'll take it;-)
Growth for February up to 0.5% from a predicted 0.1%, covering all sectors of the economy.
That will be ignored by a few on here.
I never thanked you:-)You’re welcome
I think Ric needs to add a sarcasm font.I'm not sure what you're on but this must rank as one of the barmiest posts for a while:
From full fact:
"
"Mr Starmer was head of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) when the decision not to prosecute Savile was made on the grounds of “insufficient evidence”. The allegations against Savile were dealt with by local police and a reviewing lawyer for the CPS.
A later investigation criticised the actions of both the CPS and the police in their handling of the situation. It did not suggest that Mr Starmer was personally involved in the decisions made."
It's also unfortunate that Starmer was the one who "personally" closed the freezer door behind his granny. lol
I can't bothered to discuss "patriots" or the grooming gangs, but "saving a few people a job" seems quite important if you're unlucky enough to be one of those set to lose their job.
Removed!! Thanks. Apologies to westdidsbury. Me trying to speed read the thread.I think Ric needs to add a sarcasm font.
