Think about this project when complaining of taxes. Big fucking wedges going to ridiculous projects going into billionaires coffers & out of the economy. It’s an atrocious business plan, it’s out & out fraud.

Local councils starved of money mean local workers starved of wages which mean local businesses starved. Middle men, lobbyists & consultants that come up with saving taxpayers cash normally divert it from the local economy.

At the start of my career I worked for a nationalised company, of course there was waste, if you consider employing thousands wasteful. Now these savings & extra costs are dividends for foreign shareholders & spent in a foreign economy.

What do they expect being locked in and trying to force themselves out?

When we won there 6-1 we were let out straight away with united fans angry.

When we lost 1-2 and there was the stupid offside goal we were kept in for 40 minutes.

Even after the 2008 win we were only kept in for about 10 minutes.

After the 2010 semi we were locked in for 10/15 minutes as they blasted out Glory Glory Totinngham song which they change the lyrics to.

They clearly chose their moments to antagonise fans. Olympic scored a last mins equaliser so the untd fand were angry and few probably misbehaved, so the police took it out on the whole away section, which is what they do at at a lot of euro aways. We do have a two tier policing system in GM when it comes to a utd home game, they can do what they want and any other fans get clamped down on, it was worse after playing Stoke away and police rushing city fans at piccadilly for responded to utd fans taunts from the Spoons safely on the upper tier. Only arrestable if a city fan.

Totally agree. I mentioned it elsewhere and that is that we are now seeing the complete disaster of privatisation. Water, rail, energy network the lot. Grabbed by greedy corporates at the expense of the end user taxpayer. Disgraceful.

The UK & all the previous nationalised companies & the Rags have all been managed exactly the same way.

In my view the US is going through a process that is gonna hurt some people, mostly those holding stocks and shares, but is long overdue.
Go checkout what the likes of Hilary Clinton, Nancy Polozi, Chuck Shumer, all Democrats were advocating not many years ago and now things are much worse, Trump was preaching the same message 40 years ago.
Plenty of people don't like Trump (TDS) but he has the bottle to take the difficult decisions and for that deserves to be treated with respect.
been in office for less than 100 days and his popularity is soaring, after all surely 80m Americans can't all be wrong.

The only people with stocks that are worried are those managing Ponzi schemes. Everyone else knows they’ll average 8-10%.

The people hurt will be the working poor, there’s no factories opening, the government jobs are being lost but the elite will get extra tax cuts & if you complain you can be disappeared.

The collectors at my property are bobbins. Stretford tip is awful. Broadheath fairly decent. On a separate note some LAs are now treating PIP as income for assessments so desperate are they

PIP is an income.

Maybe we're lucky but never have an issue with our bins.

Put the right stuff in the right bin, put 'em out bring 'em in.

Unfortunately a lot of thick lazy ***** can't even manage that.
We all have them in our vicinity don't we.

That doesn't make it right ! There doing it so we can as well.
A Trafford Councillor told me months ago it was either put the council tax up by a large amount or charge for green bins.

They did both.

PIP is not a means tested benefit. Put the bins out. Sometimes they get emptied. And when they do always block driveway when replacing. Is that you Tom? Central funding for LA has been decimated under repeated tory administrations but cutting refuse collections leads to more fly tipping. No idea where you live but country lane around Dunham and Partington are getting worse
