I'm not a great golf fan but there is something about The Masters that creates great sport. The first one I remember watching was 1987 - a three way play-off in fading light won with a ridiculous chip by Larry Mize. I was hooked - and that was followed by British domination Sandy Lyle - Nick Faldo - Ian Woosnam. So much great drama - and this one is up there with any of them. Not really bothered who wins it - either will be a great story

Not sure McIlroy was helped much by DeChambeau playing so erratically and then having long waits on the 18th. Might find Rose’s steadiness now helps him.

No - if I remember correctly Norman collapsed from early in in the round - whilst Faldo just played consistent par rounds. This MclIroy round has been both sublime and ridiculous.Feels like it’s Greg Norman all over again.
