Khusanov is a right sided defender but is his offensive game good enough for him to play at right back?I’d definitely prefer to see Khus at RB over Nunes or Lewis.
If Gvardiol can play LB I don’t see any reason not to play Khus at RB. Although I’d stick with Gvardiol at CB with O’Reilly at LB for now. Longer term I’d love to see Frimpong to come in the summer as our permanent RB.
How are Spurs a bogy team? I can recall a 6-0 win at the Etihad, a couple of 5-1 away wins. I also went to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a 1-0 FA Cup win the season before last and saw a PL win there this season on TV.Spurs and the Dippers are very obvious. As are the Scum, nowadays - again!
Bit it would be nice to nudge ahead before final day, no?Neither of the above, teams in the mix will drop points left right and centre over the next few weeks
Khusanov cant play RB. I know his defensive skills are amazing. But our full backs play a significant role in possession and interchange play. These are the areas where Khusanov is at his weakest. It has to be Rico or Nunes.Everton were defo the best team vs Forest, this is gonna be tough. Be interesting to see if he brings Doku or Savinho back in. Everton are quite physical so i'd prefer Khusa at RB but Palace are also physical and he went for Rico anyway.
Mmmmmm. I don't have blue tinted specs. I seem to remember that it took us several trips to score a goal at their new stadium; Kun missing a pen there; they hammered us 4-0 at home this season; pipped us to CL football; knocked us out of the Champs League in 2019. Anyway, each to their own bogey-teams-wise.How are Spurs a bogy team? I can recall a 6-0 win at the Etihad, a couple of 5-1 away wins. An irritating bogey team for us, same as a Wigan and BoroMmmmmm. I don't have blue tinted specs. Rico is a tad weak at the mo. Khusanov is physical and very quick. That’s exactly what we need right now in my humble opinion.Everton were defo the best team vs Forest, this is gonna be tough. I think it was more to do with our set up early on, both full back positions appeared completely exposed but a lot early doors went down our left. Not having a clue Eze was behind him for the opening goal, Eze got the run on him for a tap in.
Eze (thankfully) offside goal, Rico nowhere to be seen.
Numerous times caught out of position some of which in the second half which Crystal Palace didn't capitalise.
He was decent on the ball yesterday but his awareness of what's going on around him has been pretty poor this season.
I'm not a fan if Nunes but to be fair he's done OK in the right back position, He has recovery pace something which we are lacking in the back four in general.
I'll go with the Palace 11 againOrtega
Nunes Dias Gvardiol O‘reilly
kovacic - Nico - Gundogan
McAtee - KDB - Marmoush
I mean some of them scored so I don’t see him putting them back to the bench. They should get at least an half. If it doesn’t work out there’s certain players on the bench who might do better against a tired opposition
