Please Don't Give Your Season Ticket Up!

Nowt extra...why have we become so bitter as a fan base ? As a season ticket it holds perks, and quite frankly it should because you have shelled out for the full season regardless if we are good or not, on the flip side the club should be able to sell your ticket if you are not going, i agree with the inflated match prices but it seems that everyone is ripping into the club, what they have given us is off the scale but for some (not you) its never enough...
If City plan to stop you forwarding the ticket on yourself then that will be the problem. If you can't go and sell back to the club, they can freely sell it higher than what they paid you if they wish. We have become bitter for the many reasons explained to you that you don't want to listen to so why do you keep going?

I keep on reading people are going to give their season tickets up or are thinking about giving their season tickets up.

Please don't do that!

The directors will only turn those season tickets into expensive match day tickets.

Once you give your season ticket up you will never get it back again.

We all need to keep our season tickets for as long as we can.

As someone who is currently having a Club enforced break from all things City, after 40-odd years of attending, I can only emphasise the point that @jrb is making. Anyone who makes the choice to give it up will regret it within a couple of games. Its not necessarily the football you'll miss, its all that goes with the match day experience that you develop over the years.

Granted, the trip up and back down to Leicester is a fucking ball-ache, but when your social life, friends & family are in Gods own country, a it's a very small price to pay.

It'll absolutely tear you apart when its gone.

Up the fucking Blues.

Quality post.

I go and watch both the men 'n women. Last weekend Saturday kick off at 12:30 and Sunday 3:00. Only a fifteen mile one way trip but the travelling is a ball ache. I encountered five sets of temporary traffic lights. I'm renewing when the time comes for both 'cos I don't want the neighbours on either side (Rags!) suggesting that I was deserting a sinking ship, and I want to see if Cushing remains and all our players are injury free whether we can get over the Rags 'n beat CFC once, or possible twice.

He's probably moaning at max 1% of what the club do, he ,like me, worries about fans without the financial clout for themselves and their families ,that includes myself. He is fed up of being surrounded by non City fans while he knows many people who can't afford it or are prepared to fork out for it anymore.
He's fighting peoples corners, when he doesn't probably have to,but feels a duty to do so.
I applaud him,and others that fight that corner.
Yes but about most things?

I’m bitter because of the two fingers offered by the club after Istanbul . As the elite swept past in chauffeur driven cars we were left to struggle and they didn’t and still don’t give a fuck .

You're moaning about something that hasn't happenef yet!!
I rest my case...

behave you nob, just stop wumming and show some empathy .Yes, he moans and brings to light the current ongoing predicament must people in GMR face with finances. Most other things within City, which is thousands of seperate " things " he's well happy about the same as you no doubt. He highlights the main things that concern him.

I said if that happened I can see issues and then agreed with you about the club can do what they want if you return your ticket. As ever you see what you want to, off your rocker.

But it hasn't happened ? How can you moan about the club over something that doesn't exist? Fucking bizarre???
Again you are slow as fuck aren't you. I said IF that happened and then proceeded to agree with you, you absolute fucking spanner. I then told you people are bitter for the many other reasons you have ignored for weeks. I know many a blue banned from here from the power hungry mods over wumming. How the fuck are you still here>?

Wumming ? And here's you talking about something that doesn't exist!! At least i talk about facts ie match day tickets ridiculous price, kids tickets, again daft prices, thats what you should moan about you daft ****

Hello )
I had 99% decided not to renew as I find it difficult to get to many matches now. However in view of the protests etc I am now keeping it. I know there is always someone who will have the ticket off me for what I paid or even sometimes for free so the club make nowt extra from me.

However I won’t be renewing my cup memberships. I registered for all cup schemes but not next season.

I will be honest - I was wavering. I have sacked off the cup schemes and am not going to the semi final. Won’t go if we get to the final. Time for others to get a chance.
The price freeze was a surprise and that made my mind up to renew I suppose.
Look, I have been going now for 50+ years and I still have 5 years left to work if I choose too.

As long as I can afford it, pretty certain I always will be able, I will keep attending ( health permitting of course) I get why people are getting down about the current costs & the way they perceive the direction of the club is heading.

Just remember that we kept on going through the turnstiles and pissing against a brick wall in the Kippax when that twat Swales was in charge.

I suppose it’s all relative - we have put up with some pretty awful things and walked into the glorious sunshine.

CTID.

I have considered scaling back mainly due to non football reasons, terrible traffic, costs when fuel a beer and parking are added in, flat performances and being bloody freezing mid season.
I couldn't give up but considered cheaper cup games for my City infusion.
On balance though I think I will keep going unless they do something unforseen.
My thinking is the blokes I sit with are great, OAP tticket is pretty cost effective and its still a great day out . My ticket has always sold back when I can't go so I'd rather know I've got my regular seat and if I have to sell it back a few times rather than buy odd match tickets.
It's the ticket exchange that's the clincher for me because can just sell a few back if you can't make all the games for financial or other reasons.
