Part of me thinks it might be 'interesting' going one of the 'lower' European competitions as we'd have a good chance of winning it and it would allow us to play some of the youth players.
Of course, it could hinder our chances of not getting the very best players, but let's be honest we will be back in it the year after anyway!
I’m in on that basisPlaying Thursday kills any notion of a Premier League challenge.
Especially so, travelling to backwaters, just so a few pissheads can enjoy ticking off places they haven't yet visited.
Hhhmm - not sure where they're at with PSR/FFP or whatever other bollocks the red shirts make up before the transfer window.Newcastle are looking very like us circa 2011, the belief that comes from
winning a big final and bagging some silverware has taken them to a new level. If they make some marquee signings in the summer I’d have them as favourites for the PL next year given the lack of a genuinely top class team in the league
Playing Thursday has fuck all to do with it. We won't challenge if we are not good enough to. Teams that don't qualify for CL this year sixth place or below usually can't improve sufficiently the following season to challenge. For supports he means a lot more Sunday football which for many can be a pain in the arse. I think we will finish 5th this year and 3rd next year.Playing Thursday kills any notion of a Premier League challenge.

Would be a big ask, Rodri is the major injury, but we've not had a consistent back 4 all season because of injuries.I may be silly but I reckon if Rodri didnt get injured you guys would be top or chasing Liverpool very closely. Weird how much one player can affect a teams season but I guess if Salah got injured Liverpool maybe wouldnt be running away with it.
NopeIf one of the English teams were to win Europa league, foes the 5th spot go to them over the league table?
Bookmakers feel the opposite. Things can change quickly, but Villa is the least likely to get top five and at very long odds, at that(4.8/+380). They have us almost as a lock for it at 1.13. *knock on wood*.We'll finish above Chelsea and Forest, not sure about Villa.
How very dare you!Especially so, travelling to backwaters, just so a few pissheads can enjoy ticking off places they haven't yet visited.
Because, firstly, we still have loads of key players out injured:Why the hell are people.worrying about top 5.
I am actually suprememly confident.
Barcode win & win for us against the Brummiesif newcastle win this evening then even a draw with villa will be a good result
