Yup we will miss out on Kerkez because he is too obvious of an signing or maybe he is too young in pep eyes to start. It’s weird how everyone is on the same page when it comes to certain players but then the higher ups think of someone like Cambiasso because he is versatile but another shitty defender. Same for RB. Vanderson is the clear #1 but again we are looking for some La Liga prospect when Ligue 1 has far more gems. If pep wants Cambiasso instead of Kerkez it would tell me that he isn’t gonna change the system in AB’s way just replace the players.
Some mourinho stuff happening here.
 
Isn't it better just to wait and see what happens before jumping the gun and criticising the people in charge. A look through older pages in the transfer thread will show how smart arses on here suggest buying this or that player and they turn out to be shite. I recommend that people should do just that and be a little more patient when saying we should buy x and y for whatever it takes.
 
LB IS a priority to keep the LW invert system going that Marmoush thrives in.

Ake cant do that. Gvardiol seems more suited to being a LCB. And O Reilly is learning but is more utility for LB and LCM.

As a LB he makes alot more, never liked him linked as a RB.

Id say raid Monaco for Vanderson (RB) and Camara (8), sort out the goalies with Chevalier or Costa, and thats a pretty good window.

Edit: And Reijnders! Can never have enough box to box 8s.

If the case we want Cambiaso at LB which is great in my opinion it means the Theo links were bollocks which I don’t mind but does that mean Reijnders links also bollocks?

I think he's on the list looking at the names going with the reports. not sure if it'll pan out though at a guess.
MGW/Reijnders for the 8, Wirtz the 10 and Wharton the 6 depending who from the Unc's can/cant be shifted etc.

not seen any links to anyone of the 3 at Monaco. The RB might be someone out of the box (eg Andrei Ratiu)

Can't remember where or the source so bit of useless information really but he would be a decent shout and help with the homegrown quota.
I'd take him before gibbs white even if he is a bit of a dick.

I’ll always maintain we could and should have paid whatever it took to get Rice. Forget London, everyone has a price. Pay him, his agent, family, enough he would have come here.

Not saying we should operate that way for every signing but in that one instance we needed to flex our muscles and beat down Arsenal. Homegrown, for sale, top quality. We would be in the CL semi now instead of them, and probably a damn sight closer to challenging for the title.

The club has to use this fuck up as a lesson that when the right player is available and would be a perfect fit for our needs, we spend whatever it takes to get him.

If we need homegrown. I’d take a punt on Dibling. Young , homegrown and wouldnt cost upwards to 80 mil.

I did like Rico Henry for that LB need at one point, pity his hamstring has been fucked all year, contract is coming up too
