I thought this was one of his lesser exciting games before the goal. I thought Savio spent most of his time in his lane and he was forced centrally too often. And didn't get to use his full arsenal.

Glad he got the goal. Thought the lineup restricted him and many others.

Playing out of position but has done well. I don't think he would of expected to play as much as he has at the beginning of the season. He has goals in him. He has shown he can fill in at full back. Pep can trust him out of position which for a young player must be the biggest compliment. I wonder with Akanji back do we get him back in and out Gvariol back to left back. Could we see him getting a chance in midfield before the end of the season. His added legs in midfield will help. Some selection headaches for Pep long term. For Nico his way into the team is staying at left back and hope Gvariols form at centre back keeps him there too.

100% we carry on with him at LB. Then in pre season / WCC we have a look at him in midfield in his proper position

Would prefer next season if he can play in his favoured position

Where is that? Do you know where he played in the youth side? Do you know he said to pep he feels he isn't ready to play the 6 role?

At the moment he doing fine at left back, he was going into midfield going down the wing and getting the box!

Our full-back roles are unusual in that they allow someone like Nico to get time on the ball and to move into positions totally natural to them. This works brilliantly while we are in possession of the ball, but presents more of a risk when we are without as he, and others, are not natural defenders.
Earlier in the season, many were calling for Pep to abandon his principles and to 'play proper defenders' and stop 'the inverted nonsense'. In the frustration of losing games we would previously have won easily, it is so easy to abandon what has brought us so much success. Pep is not a pragmatist in that sense, so the journey through the rain was painful.
Next season will be the time to judge. Hopefully, we won't be so crippled by injury and illness. We will see Rodri return, and partner Gonzalez in midfield. In that situation, when the defence is so protected by the midfield, someone like O'Reilly could really, really flourish. The departure of some of our players will present opportunity for many, including Khusanov, Reis, O'Reilly, Lewis, Oscar, and possibly other academy talents beginning to venture into cup games on their first senior steps.
There are exciting times ahead of us, I am certain of it.

He's not a left back imo

Almost the first name on the teamsheet these days. Not just the goals, the calmness on the ball but the sheer presence he adds - amongst a team of undersized players.

Delph wasn't Zinchenko wasn't gvardiol isn't Lewis isn't Nunes isn't Akanji isn't silva isn't! These are the players who have all played left back under pep and I might of missed someone too!

I would like to think Nico has a lot more talent that Delph, Zinchenko, Nunes and Akanji
