I think it’s partly due to the run in of games other teams have. Newcastle have to play Arsenal and Chelsea. Chelsea are struggling and they play Forest last game of the season. Regardless of what happens on Tuesday I am confident we will finish in the top 5.
Maybe, but arsenal have bigger fish to fry, and Chelsea are so unpredictable aren’t they - as are we!
I hope you’re right, but if those are the odds they just seem a bit extreme. Maybe it will all come down to the final day …

Does Jack usually play against Villa?
I have no idea, but players are normally "extra-motivated" when they play against their former club.
He played well against Forest in the middle.
KDB is showing his age and has maybe 1 good game in about 5.
We're stale and lacking creativity from midfield.
I'd be exploring all our options before we go out and splash another wad of cash on an unknown quantity.

IMO Jack centrally is something I'd like to see being given a serious go.

Aye, except Raheem vs liverpool ;-)

Glad we're not playing them at theirs, they are full of confidence after the PSG games. I don't think we should beat them, they are where they are for reason, it will be another tough game like all of them at the moment.

need some pace at the back for this one so even though Josko has been solid in CB would move him back to LB to bring in Kush, bit I wouldn't drop O'Reilly but push him more into his attacking midfield role due to Savinho offering nowt at present and while O'reilly is popping up with goals and assists kev or Jack centre

Pep will try the same tactics vs Everton. Keep it tight, low energy, limit them to as few chances as possible then look to exploit space with 20 to go. I think he'd take a 0-0 if you offered it to him now.
I think your right. I think they are the better team at the present point in time. However, our boys have shown a bit of fight recently and have shown an ability to score goals when needed particularly at home. A draw would be a good result in this one, a loss would leave us having to win the last 4 games I think.

What were the comments?
‘I played 20 minutes against PSG in both games, so I'm not going to lie - I was fuming I wasn't playing,’ Watkins said. ‘I let him (Emery) know that. He's the manager at the end of the day. I respect his decision. But I'm not one of the players happy to sit on the bench.'

They're quick up front if not particularly lethal in front of goal, but at the back they are quite flaky. I just hate that little twat McGinn. He's an injury to one of ours waiting to happen.
We could take a lesson from the rags and throw ourselves to the floor anytime he comes near. Guaranteed freekick, second thoughts we're not wearing red.
