Premier League Games | 19th-23rd April '25

All these sides getting giddy and desperate to be promoted yet on the whole many now go straight back down.

So annoying that every Dippers game is on sly this month. We never got that following. Obviously so they can be there on the day of the great anointing.

Ffs I've just seen the Chavs score.

I don't think the gap in quality between the PL and the Championship has ever been wider than it has been shown to be this season. All three promoted sides going straight back down. Yes, it's happened before. But I don't recall all three going down with so many games (relatively speaking) left. I know only Southampton are definitely gone, but come on. Leicester and Ipswich are done for.

Chelsea easiest games will be against United & Liverpool
Its crazy to think that Chelsea could leave Palmer and a few others out of their panel for the earlier rounds of their European matches.

Not sure did I hear it correctly but there could be have been up to 12 premier league teams in European competition next season.
Won't happen now but it is still a chance that Crystal Palace can qualify for Europe via FA Cup and spurs or the rags will qualify for champions league if they win their European competition.

2 up 2 down has to be the answer.

24 fighting to be part of 20 just doesn't go.

Would give the 2 coming up more chance of staying up I reckon!

No. The parachute payments are a massive deal in the championship. You need 3 going down with that money to keep it competitive. And obviously 3 going up gives them more to fight for.

What is often said re the current PL teams is there is 4 or 5 in ghee that are small clubs, championship size. But they are so well run. Bournemouth, Fulham, Brentford, Brighton etc. All of them very solid organised clubs.

Can you clarify this?
