F1 2025 Season

Crikey that was fun.

I still think Piastri is too peaky to win the title but what the fuck is Norris doing, it’s like he’s going out of his way to not win the title.

Sort it out Lando lad!

If Piastri wins the title I can genuinely see it being a nail in Norris’s career as a top level driver. It’ll melt his brain.

Still at least we can laugh at red bull.

Another amazing drive from George. Incredible.

I have Piastri to win 5 races or more 2 already. As for Lando not sure on him. They have the quickest car he needs to be getting a few more wins. As if they do team orders at this rate they will go with Oscar.
Hamilton it's still early days him as a top level driver might be coming to the end of he can't be competitive every race week.

Max if he leaves Red Bull where does he go?? Mercedes or will he stick it out and wait and see what happens next season at Red Bull

Lando's head has gone already. He needs a sports psychologist in there fast if he wants to be a world champion.

He sounds like he's beating himself up.
He’s shown this a bit after this here. Going to cause himself problems if he’s calling himself a fucking idiot over the radio. I can definitely see Piastri beating him to the WDC before. He’s a lot more composed under pressure than Lando.

He will lose this drive/car at the end of the season if he carries on with this shit. He needs to compose himself and get back to winning.

Watching this interview with Martin Brundle and Lewis Hamilton before the coverage starts.

Not sure when it was recorded but I’ve not seen it before.

Brundle is an incredible broadcaster. And while for a long time I was never really a Hamilton fan (I think this is mostly down to Jenson being my favourite driver so I was always on his side of the McLaren garage, and I was upset when Lewis jumped ship from McLaren and moved to Mercedes) in later years I’ve warmed so much to him.

What a thoroughly decent and intelligent human Lewis is.

I can’t see it happening now but I’m desperate for him to get that ‘official’ rubber stamp on the 8th title that to anyone with an ounce of F1 knowledge knows he has already won.

Norris out in Q3 after hitting the wall.

As people on this thread know, my sporting love after City (and dare I say it, on some days on a par with City!) is the McLaren Formula 1 team.

Lando is our Foden.

He wears his heart on his sleeve and this brings benefits and drawbacks.

Come on Lando lad, punch through it on lap 1 and we go from there!

Great to see Jamie Chadwick on Sky again. Along with Bernie she’s one of the most intelligent and insightful pundits on tv - and nothing to do with her being a woman.

Sky need to sack off that daft yank Trump idiot and give Chadwick her races. Mental that they sack Damon Hill yet keep Patrick on the payroll.

Another race that was both boring and very tense.

It ever really kicked off after the safety car but there was a lot of tactics at play there.

Realistically that was about as much damage limitation as Norris could’ve achieved.

Another couple of laps and he’d have had LeClerc but it’s a tough circuit.

One of the all time great British sportsman.

People don't like him because he dares to be different with all the outlandish fashion etc.. it just isn't typically British to be like that. We are very much get your head down, shut up and act "normal".

If he was American he would be utterly lauded and looked upon as a Michael Jordan type figure, especially within the black community.

I hope one day he can get that championship for Ferrari.

Weird how people fixate on that. I could almost understand it if he was a cocky obnoxious bell end with it, but that’s the total opposite. He comes across as a thoughtful, intelligent, articulate and actually fairly introverted guy.

The fashion / clothing thing with Lewis seems more like a genuine hobby than some kind of flashy statement thing.
