Looks like the Club are struggling to sell tickets for the game which is a bit surprising given its importance. Just had an email saying I can buy three more tickets if I want them.
I have noticed a similar lack of interest on this thread. Maybe tomorrow the importance of the fixture will start to strike home. Hopefully, people don't start to seriously engage at 10 pm tm evening if our CL hopes are hanging by a thread. We need whoever turns up to get behind the team for a game that's more important than the Forest game

We'll finish top 5 even if we don't win this game.

When was the last time City played well in both halves? We are going to have to start with this fucking lot imho.
Agreed, and why I don't think we'll win this. Their last two performances have been outstanding, and they are in very good form. We need to be at it from minute 1 if we're going to get anything.

A draw would do if Spurs can do us a favour tonight. It is, regardless of other results, a must not lose. Our home form has been good since Christmas so I am reasonably confident we can get something out of this game.

Huge game tomorrow a must not lose yet it doesn’t have that same feeling about it. Ticket sales look shite hopefully a wake up call to the club

Soriano and his boys would of course agree with you but for me an FA Cup triumph is infinitely preferable to CL qualification.

What do you remember most fondly from 2011 ? The seminal SF win against the rags and the glorious sunny cup final day when we won our first trophy in decades against Stoke ? Or beating Bolton to finish 3rd in the league ?
Whilst I see what you mean, I think you should have added all the European nights in the season that followed into your comparison.

Yes, when everyone was injured and before Pep realized NOR could actually play left back. His defensive prowess was a net positive.

Now that most of the players are healthy and NOR has been great at LB its harder to get him on because Its either him or Dias. And Dias will get the nod in that scenario.

The only way he gets to play is if Pep rests O'Reilly, and moves Josko back out to LB making room fo him to partner Dias.

I think we are much more fluid passing out of the back without him, and now that Eddy is not starting, i really don't think we can afford him and Ortega together in the back 5.

Love the guy but i understand why he isn't playing.
If that’s true it makes our scattergun January transfer window even more bizarre

What's up with Khusanov?
Incredible, isn't it? Already a cult hero, virtually the first name on every Blue Moon lineup posted on the PMTs - even more impressive considering his first 5 minutes in the shirt - now he's Forgotten Man of the Year.

It does seem like he already feels at home, but being involved throughout an exciting, hopefully successful run-in could have made him a Blue for life.

It's quite simple be honest, we play dads army again in midfield and we will loose this game,
We all know this I just hope a certain person knows this, but I doubt it

I'd imagine we will flood the midfield 2moro can't be giving villa space for their players to run with the ball.

How so? Otamendi and even Dias were similarly weak on the ball when they got with Pep. But over a year or more they both got significantly better.

Uzbekenbaur is already phenomenal as an athlete and a defender. Give him time to develop his confidence on the ball. His technique bis actually decent. Just needs time and repetition.

He was a fantastic add. Bit as a 21 year old, its fine he came in and held us up for a good period and now he continues working on his game. Once his ball skills improve , we are looking at a WC Center back

the way everyone seems to be predicting a doomsday match its intresting to note since the wolves manager turned up in december city are 4th in the form table.so although its not been vintage city of the last few years maybe were not quite as bad as some would have us believe

Ticket sales can't be going well they have emailed me informing me that I can buy three extra now if I want. This is a wake-up call to the club. In spite of our recent sustained success we can't sell out even one of our more attractive fixtures, Villa at home.

I agree the kid has potential, he’s not that far behind Dias now imo.

I meant scattergun in the sense that we needed athletic midfielders and full backs yet we ended up buying two inexperienced centre halves and a slow midfielder who makes near five yard passes

Would loved to have brought my 7 year old to this. I would have sucked up the flights and accommodation but when the club is blatantly ripping us off I decided against it. The clubs pricing is scandalous.

Is £71 the cheapest ticket on the night? It's scandalous if so. How much is a kids ticket?
