He just isn't good enough for a permamment role in midfield and 3 times yesteday bottled one on ones so weak as a defender.

shame as I wanted him to do well but, if a RB comes in he would be left benched and he is good enough to play regulary elsewhere so we need to set him free

Whatever he has to do with an LB.

Think he's a decent squad player, but we need to make some room and Nunes probably needs to be one of those that goes. I am in two minds about it though.

He can actually defend. Even if ge was 'most dribbled passed ' it would simply be because he showed up 1 v 1 more

That said, i dont remember all these dribbled past you speak of. When i watch the replay I'll see of there is more to this claim. Didn't see it in real time
Just out of interest how many assists does Nunes have to Lewis?

After watching the game again, Nunes was our clear best player. I thought O'Reilly was user tension. But after a clear eyed review, i think Nunes was clearly better.

Had our first goal bound shot.

Was the quickest to react to the Everton chance that hit the bar. Major clearance as there wee 2 Everton players lurking.

Created the cross for Kev rebound shot that was blocked out for a corner

Created O'Reilly's goal. Underl-apped Bernardo beautifully and generally defended well on the right.

He is a decent player and doing his bit to help the team. Many more players on the chopping block before Nunes. That’s progress, not saying he should be regular full back but credit is due for his willingness to learn and implement.

The club will probably only sign 4/5 players max in the summer.

Against a packed defence (usually the case, when City play), Nunes seems to go under the radar.
His forward run against Everton, where he pulled the ball back for KDB's shot, is typical of his vision and unselfish running.
Think he is a far better option at Wembley at right back, than Rico.
With far more space at Wembley, he could be the person to unlock Forest's renowned defence...

Complete pussy - who constantly pulls out of tackles. Poor fullback and too dumb to be a midfielder apparently according to Pep. Get rid this summer and big up in public so we get a fair price - probably about half what we paid if we are lucky!

2nd most assists in total with 9. 1 more than KDB. Savinho has the most with 12.

Not too shabby considering he’s mainly played full back this year.

Or that he's not played in almost half the games.

The goals have to come from somewhere.. Foden/ Bernardo/ Gundo/ Jack/ Kovacic/ Lewis aren't exactly lighting up the league with assists.

Think he'd be a good rotation option at right wing if most of our incoming transfer business this summer is in the middle and at the back.

Problem with that is Phil.

Given that he's not provided many assists even in his POTY season.. and we're clearly looking for central playmakers.. I think Phil's future is likely at right wing.

That pushes Nunes to RB/ LB where Pep seems to be more comfortable with him. And LB currently has Nico O'Reilly so it's RB.

Good point but unfortunately for Nunes case we need a Walkeresque RB who can be the wide man in attack to allow Phil to go inside.

No matter how good this guy plays in certain games he always has a brain lapse and error in him just like today and against united at home etc. He is a complete liability. Marginally better than Lewis at RB but is that really saying much?
