And there we have it. The Blair Govt wasn’t catastrophic and the UK is not a ‘fucking basket case’. We have problems and issues as any country does, but you sheer hatred and contempt for this country is what drives and informs your politics. There is no attempt at balance or reason just a wish to destroy; to burn everything to the ground under the guise of ‘saving it’.

You are a fanatic and fanaticism in politics always leads to a dark place.

You mean the Greens well meaning aim of saving the planet and by extension humanity is ludicrous? Yes, I can see how a hard right wing fanatic would reject such a noble idea. Having us live in misery on a doomed planet is much more your ideal.

I assume your contempt for this country also extends to science, and endeavours to protect the environment, indeed anything that would potentially benefit people. Perhaps, you yearn for the 1950’s with rampant pollution, thick smogs and people coughing their lungs out. The cleaner air we breathe today was achieved despite people like yourself objecting at every measure taken to get here.

Yeah.... If any effort or attempt start the process to end the mindless killings (not guaranteed) upsets you and you are enjoying watching innocent people getting slaughtered then then I'd like to feel some sympathy for you but.... some people (note: not plebs or rats) are just not worth it and you unfortunately are one of them.

Yeh, such a radical amazing idea, why has no one ever thought of it. just release the hostages and the middle east crises will be resolved for ever, Israel will let Palestinians live in peace forever. nice one.

Very noble but acting unilaterally will make no difference to the planet, none at all. Yet these policies are costing us a fortune and for zero benefit.

FYI I am not a right wing fanatic I am all for nationalising the power and water industries and the internal transport companies, but just because politics is on the slippery to complete breakdown and I really would like to see massive change I'm afraid, you've been too easily influenced by Mutley.

It would be a start and is better than any suggestion you've come up with. To tell the Israeli's to just stop murdering whilst their enemy is holding hostages is just a non-starter (unfortunately), releasing the hostages would be a step in the right direction.... but you hold on to your principle and dig in I mean it's only human lives that are being destroyed... nice one!

Frog face is quietly going around town speaking in pubs and filling the fuckers up. Some out of support and others just because it's him.

His own ground game is putting other parties to shame and by pretending to give a fuck a lot of people think he does.

Starmer and labour heads are stuck in the sand convinced he's only stealing tories.

Nigel is working on the Electorate for 4 solid years, compare that to the 6 weeks the other parties will use. That's a lot of time to spread your Trumpian claims and for enough people to believe it. The next GE will be interesting to see how FPTP truly works.

I hope I'm wrong but this thread is becoming like the first Trump thread where myself and others were laughing until they were elected.

Easy to say though. Assuming you are talking about the UK, what would be your top 10 for massive change? And let's not forget they have to be for the good of the country as a whole.

January 24 to January 25 just over 42% of UK energy was provided by renewables. Thats 42% less reliance on Russian, Middle Eastern and other suppliers to give us heat and light which reduces the impact on world wide fluctuations as a result of whatever world events. Over a decade renewable energy has from some sources dropped by 88% - the decade point being a point. As time goes on with any technology economies of scale cut it - remember when a laptop cost £5k? Well a laptop with more power and functions will cost you £250 now so it isn't costing fortunes and there are obvious benefits for us the end user.

Nationalisation of key industries (Gas, Electric, Water, Telecommunications)
Nationalisation of National Rail Network
Nationalisation of Steel Industry

Bring Busses under Council Control and establish a "National footprint" for bus operators - equal services nationally
Link pension and benefits to taxation. (anyone in higher tax bracket cannot receive things like tax credits, WFA etc..)
Review taxation (increase tax on very high earnings/income say anything over £10m/year pay 65% + tax)
Increase Corporation tax on profitable.

There you go.... counting the first entry as four - that gives us an opening gambit of 10..... Have I got our vote?
