Pretty similar shapes for both teams, not much width in either lineup so expect fullbacks on both sides to get through a lot of work

The big concern is losing possession with everyone the wrong side of the ball, something that Kova in particular gets caught out with time and time again. I really would've preferred to see Nico G in there to help mitigate that

If the Bernardo from the derby shows up and Palace Gündo and Kevin then we have a chance. But that is relying on season-best performances from several players on the decline

Are all the people moaning about the line up the same people who moaned about the line ups before we beat Palace and Everton?

Everton was the subs that really changed the game and palace was a bit of KDB genius that turned the momentum away from palace. We were awful against palace until that goal went in and Everton was just dull until the changes came. Not starting doku in my opinion is ridiculous. Matty fucking cash man, go at him. Also why kovacic is back at the 6 is beyond me.

I can see how it worked against Palace, but not against Villa.

Palace only run two in midfield.

Groundhog Day in here, I see.

We haven’t lost this season when KDB, Gundogan and Kovacic all started. When he tries to take one of them out, that’s when it falls apart and we lose. Last week he goes without Kovacic, once again we’re all at sea. Brings him on. We win.

We really need to avoid losing, so he plays the team that hasn’t lost. Seems pretty straightforward to me.
