You're right - it was up the other end.

But it highlights the fact that you cannot have an ageing midfield AND Nunes with the ball up there...

The inevitable necessary sprints back only end one way, over the course of a whole match
Yep, completely agree. It's a big risk. But Dias and Bernardo should be able to stop Rashford

Not his fault at all. He’s a center mid, not a right back. He’s just doing what he’s told to to the best of his ability. I agree that he should be off though, but for who? Lewis isn’t much better, and Khus is better at right back.
I have no idea what you are talking about. He needlessly gave the ball away… wtf has that got to do with where he is playing or other players, who aren’t playing?
He’s shit and a liability..

...and why has VAR only shown him the worse angle that doesn't show the clear touch?

Fuck off VAR, why have you even over ruled the ref for such a minimal "possible" pen?

Fucking bent this football lark!

Clearly the drama of the race for European places needed spicing up. TWATS!

Premier League Match Centre on X:
"VAR OVERTURN.

"VAR checked the referee’s call of no penalty to Aston Villa for a challenge by Dias on Ramsey – and deemed there was a clear trip and recommended an on-field review.

"The referee overturned the original decision and awarded a penalty to Aston Villa."
