Aging midfield non existent, constantly giving it away, and a ref who is clearly going to let them get away with whatever they want. Get hold of the game and dictate how we want it played ffs.
Nunes, Gundog and KDB off for Grealish, Khusanov & Doku.

Far too many average performances and a knackered midfield. For all the talk about our subs, it's not as if Villa have shite on the bench - Watkins would have made more of the chances Rashford had

This XI is showing Pep picked the wrong team again and will be bailed out by his subs. No need for two out of Gundo, KDB and Mcatee

Not terrible considering we’re playing against 9 plus 1 prick with 3 empty shirts contributing nothing.

Not played badly at all, they arejsut so much stronger and quicker than us whenever we break they crowd us out and they break so dynamically

Pretty even though, struggling to create without a proper focal point or some pace

Played pretty well, especially first 30 mins or so. Dominated.
Lost patience last 15 or so, too many forced passes and turnovers.

Remember the good old days when villa was a routine 3 to 4-0 win? Fair fuck to them for improving, but we’ve really dropped a bollock with the squad planning, fuck me. Some of this football wouldn’t look out of place in the old folks walking league ffs.

That said, couple of bright spots, marmoush is great.

Get Vassell on, always scored vs them
