Only gripe with the penalty decision was that VAR intervened. I’ve seen VAR ignore far worse challenges than that one under the ‘not clear and obvious’ loophole.

I don’t think we ever play well with Gundo, Bernie and Kova in the same 11. Zero energy and all very similar players who create very little. Add KDB now his legs and passing have gone and McAtee to the mix, it’s all very static in our play.

It’s worrying how the exact same patterns of play from the Villa defeat earlier in the season is playing out again.

Midfield is a massive issue right now. It’s honestly sad to see the decline of KDB, Berna, and Gundi. We used to control games with ease. Now we can’t even dominate with this current setup, and that’s worrying. We’ll need to seriously spend big this summer, no way around it.
We've a holding midfielder on the bench, We also have a midfielder that's playing at left back at the moment, Both of which should be starting centrally and would make a massive difference.

Seems like you've to be in your mid 30's to start in midfield.

Can't beleive how many empty seats there are, my block has multiple villa fans and to be fair none celebrated or are being dicks but it's an embarrassing turn out for a crucial game
71 pounds! I’m glad some fucked it off because that is fucking disgusting. Shown no ambition in the summer so why should the fans.

The pen has absolutely shafted us, especially as the players have seen it in the stadium. Absolutely terrible officiating once again all round. We're actually playing well, would like to see Jack and Phil on for Kev and Macca.
Yes there was some contact but not enough to overturn the refs initial decision.

I actually think it's the best we've moved the ball in a while.

Only seen the replay once in the stadium for the penalty and it looked soft as fuck. Not enough to overturn.

Sky have told the studio, "penalty or your contracts are cancelled"
