Most peole missing last night’s winner got what they deserved.
Where I used to live, if I left at the end of the game then I had 14 minutes to get to Piccadilly and catch the train which would get me home at 11.45pm from an 8 kick off. If I missed that train, I would get home at 1.30am. I got up for work at 6am.

Now I used to be young so most of the time I'd choose the 1.30am option. But with that turgid display at those exorbitant prices in a game of that importance and such a limp wristed fucking display then yeah, if my situation was the same I probably would have prioritised making that early train.

So fuck me right? I "deserved" it because I thought I might try and get me and my school attending kids home before 1.30am rather than spend an extra 6 minutes in the ground.

Some of you people are so privileged that you're oblivious.

I got back to Leeds with the Chinese die hards at about 12.20am. I was home before 1am. It was after 2am that I stopped buzzing.

Yes I wouldn’t keep having a go at the early leavers As missing the winner is a sickener enough for them.

The guy and lad on the City official post sit a few rows in front of me. The Wythenshawe Chapter of the 209 Ultras!

Anyway, good effort with the banner. I think if the Dad was wearing blue that would have helped.
The dad should have been wearing a blue shirt with 71 on the back and the kid should have had 41 (or whatever it was) on his shirt. Make the message about the ridiculous prices.

I thought it was quite a good game to be honest. We were the better team IMO - not at our imperious best of course - whereas Villa themselves weren't at their best either but the overall quality of their squad meant they were always going to pose a threat even when we were on top.

BUT....again I agree with the general point about getting home after midweek games. If you only live 10 or 15 miles away rather than 200 miles away, the public transport system at that time of night can be hit and miss even if you're on or close to a bus or train route.

I live 5 miles away and wasn't home until 11.15 pm. Should have walked it.

Cheers mate. However, I'm not on Twitter or any social media and I wasn't able to attend last night.

I'll be at Wembley and Wolves game so will keep an eye out for leaflet.

Wife is on Facebook though so do the supporters that arrange the banners etc have a Facebook page where a donation link could be available?

disgraceful.

where is your commitment? :-)

I had one threatening to kill me on the tram station outside after the game. A full on spanner saying the tram going into town was going to London as all our fans are from London. He said if I hadn't looked like his grandad I'd be dead. Nice. He was about 6ft 6 and a nob.
I thought we were all from Stockport, when did we all move?

Back of ss3 again was mint. I keep seeing people saying ss1 is where the atmosphere is but the back off ss3 for me is the best part of ground. A good 300 singing for 90 mins..if there was only more who could be arsed like these lads.

On a side note one of them showing me his phone number on his phone so we could meet for a fight outside. He was about 30 years old. An actual 30 year old person showing me a phone number to ring soni could fight him.
I've had to type this out on my phone so I could sort of try to make sense of it. When I eventually got out and walking back to town there was no villa fans to be seen?????

Good numbers but wank atmosphere and literally zero agro.
Should have put his number on here for the laughs.

Villa must have the worst set of songs of any team.

Championship style songs and songs that are blatantly stolen from other clubs.

The only one that sounded original was the one for rashford and even that was just recycled from jhon Duran.

We shall not be moved was strange too. Where would they be moved from?

Until recently I've always felt Villa fans were alright in the main. Villa Park was certainly a less naughty place to visit than St Andrews or Molineux. But since they came back up in 2019 they've turned into right jumped-up pricks. That League Cup Final in 2020 is a classic case in point. I didn't actually witness any trouble myself but I'm sure most of us have now heard about the 50-odd year old Villa fan punching a 9 year old City fan after the game.

Obviously it's not all Villa fans of course. Last night before the game I was involved in the ticket price demonstration and was handing out leaflets. A fair few Villa fans took one and were very supportive, as of course were many of our own fans. In fact, the biggest prick I encountered was a half-and-half scarf seller who was also a City season ticket-holder. He's entitled to his own opinion of course but some of the shite he was coming out with regarding those of us protesting was utterly nonsensical. One of his fellow scarf sellers was a United fan yet he got exactly what it was all about.
I don’t get all the fuss about the Villains, like you I had no problem at all with any of them on wembley way or on the tube or anywhere. Isolated incidents of thuggishness no doubt happen but that’s no reason to tar them all with the same brush.

Here’s a question for everyone ….. losing at Wembley obviously sours the mood …. on the occasions that we’ve lost have more City fans been the victim of blue on blue violence than would normally have been victims of violence from opposing fans had their team lost. A lot of stories emerge of blue v blue happening

I thouight it was pretty good last night and both sets of fans contributed. When the south stand upper got going in the second half I thought it gave a good example of how things could be in the new stand. The sound was booming and the rest of the ground responded.
There was a moment in the second half where ss3 were really loud for a particular chant - I think it was ‘we’re the boys in blue’ and it was so much louder than the rest of the ground.

I could hear it clear as anything in the Colin bell stand

Haha, always reminds me of the Gillingham game, at 2-0 two Blues knocking the shit out of each other in front of me and at 2-2 hugging each other.
