Seat Counters - 2024/25

The people who are attacking neutrals would be running away if it was a Utd or Leeds firm.

What we need to do is grow our fan base with diehard Blues.
They’re all unskilled numpties throwing girly punches mate, I don’t see why you’d draw the conclusion that our numpties would run from their numpties.

Regardless, diehard blues are put off attending the Etihad due to the problem of away fans in home areas. My solution of a few scraps here and there will sort this problem out far far quicker than any number of well meaning peaceful protests which fall on deaf ears

As much as the Club don't like it, there needs to be at least a 30% decrease of ticket pricing across the board, they will never do it but it's a sure fire way of having more fans willing to attend. Ok some games will sell out really quickly and the club miss out on a ground full of tourists, so fucking what, it drums up interest, its why the Scandi's are on a waiting list to buy tickets for the scousers etc as they know when tickets are available they have to buy them to get a chance to see their team. We haven't got the fan base they think we do, I'm at peace with that and the sooner they realise it the better for everyone.

Have the season ticket pricing tally up with matchday tickets (maybe offer a small incentive, such as you get some cup games included). Offer a 'value gold' season ticket package for Family's where they can be put anywhere in the ground but at least they are together, people will start bring their kids more often then. Make it easier on match day to buy a ticket that has been returned from a machine outside the ground or in the City Centre. Loads will start picking up tickets on the way home from work if they suddenly become easy to buy and they aren't £70 quid!

OK the Club will lose a couple of million quid a Year, its fucking peanuts in the grand scheme of things.

Are you one of the diehard blues scared of attending, or have diehard blues told you they are scared of attending, or have you read the same.

Fannies whoever they are, and I am sure you are only reporting facts.

what the fuck are you on about? Or is it a wind up?

I’d sooner have a situation where blues are attacking gobby neutrals to deter the club from selling tickets to the highest bidder than one where large pockets of rags or dippers or, next season God forbid, Leeds are attacking blues in our own ground because it’ll come to that given the wrong set of circumstances
What evidence do you have of significant numbers of neutrals at Manchester City? This has been repeatedly claimed but I am not convinced it has happened. I have seen aways fans in the home end. We've had that every time we play Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The crowd vs Villa was an embarrassment to City. In the absence of an alternative evidence, I think it was the result of a short-notice fixture rearrangement from the weekend combined with sky-high match-day pricing, preventing the acquisition of tickets by match-day fans and the effective transfer of seats from seasoncard holders to matchday fans.

I don't think we can blame ticket agencies or make any assessment of the extent of their role based on the poor crowd last night. Unless someone has a good argument, they seem to be a distraction from the major issues of pricing and seasoncard availability.

I think the club will be concerned about the empty seats. The ticket office function is to maximise revenue and fill the ground.
I mentioned this yesterday, but I had a look yesterday afternoon out of curiosity at my block for the game last night. All the seats around me that are STs were greyed out (and all bar one of them came to the game).

The seat to my left hasn’t been a ST for two years yet when I’ve looked to get that seat for a mate over the last two years, the seat is never available through the City Ticket website. However, yesterday afternoon, that seat was available on the City Ticket website, but was obviously not sold as it was left empty at the game.

That suggests to me that it’s not been available previously because it’s a seat that the ticket tout sites hold as a ST that they tout on. Yet for last night’s game it was relisted back to the club by the ticket tout site.

Not really.

We can have a hostile atmosphere without cowardly attacks on neutrals.
Fuck em… if I turned up at Old Trafford or Anfield for a United v Liverpool game wearing an Arsenal shirt, a Utd:Lpool h’n’h scarf, holding a City superstore bag and walking round showing it all off to the redshirt cunts like I was there to take the piss out of them both while they knew people who’d been priced out, I’d expect to get filled in and wouldn’t complain that I did.

Not that these gimps have been filled in at the Etihad; the only ones on the receiving end of digs have been cunts who have jumped up when a hated rival has scored. When we played Arsenal, one of their cunts was in the face of a City kid fan goading him when Calafiori scored and he got twatted.

Spot on unfortunately.
It’s not just here, imagine doing this at Rangers/Celtic or Galatasary/Fenerbahce - football is not Rugby or Tennis - it’s much more personal and there is a lot of passion & tribal hatred
They kill each other in South America

If it’s away fans then that’s a different matter. If they take liberties they run the risk.
