Seat Counters - 2024/25

I can't tell you how easy I find it, as someone who has always gone to games more regularly than almost anyone I know, to let jibes about attendance not get to me.

Any season card holder at any club who has done even an away or two knows how expensive being a fan is these days. I wouldn't be giving any rival stick for not forking out £200 for a semi-final when they might be back again in a month.

I'm sure Forest fans - like Brighton, Villa, Watford, Sheffield United, Wigan and so on - will enjoy their big days. Me and my old man have been down so often we know which local pubs do the best pints.

And what's different this year is that it's only three weeks between semis and final, with both potentially falling within the same pay cycle for many people.
 
Right, just wondering what filling to put in my sandwiches for the drive be back from Wembley?!
Booked on Wealdstone FC car park for £7.50. 1 X £45 ticket in the Gods as my son is working so can’t go, couple of beers and a burger at Wealdstone, jump on the tube, not sure of the cost, £5 or £6, might get a pint on the concourse at £8? and, my mates driving his company car, so no petrol costs.
So, will cost me £80 at the most.
Come on City….

But it's not a fucking final is it FFS. Its another trip to Etihad South for the 30th time since 2011. Its their first trip for a non-playoff match since 1991. I posted the figures yesterday, nearly 1,000,000 Blues will have made the trip to Wembley since 2011, if we make the final.

For my sins I live in Leicester. East Midlands news has wall to wall coverage of "Wembley Fever" gripping Nottm. Their owner has given away 1,000 Forest shirts, with players handing them out at schools. There's Wembley cakes, towns decked in Forest colours, street parties and special ales being brewed. There's football specials laid on, convoys of coaches, special screenings on big screens. Face painting. Garden parties.

You simply cannot compare our turn out compared to theirs. It's fucking ridiculous. This is a big deal for their city and its only the Semi-Final.

It's not such a big deal for us, it's as simple as that.

Get over it.

It's also that many want to go but cannot afford to go twice in a couple of weeks. If they go to semi they miss the final if we get there. Banking on a win for many. If we lose then they have missed the semi which is on live tv anyway. If we win Hunky dory!
Sooner miss the semi than the final.

No-ones attitude was questioned when we weren't really there at Millwall. Certainly not questioned at the science park, Oldham or Elland Road. 45 years following MY club all over the world pal.

Even though we're there twice a year
