Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

I agree, but as far as I'm concerned, it's heresay. Just like the couple across the road from him who "rent" their 2nd property to a family member who then claims the rent from the state. so the taxpayer is funding the mortgage.

Unfortunately free prescriptions drive bad behaviour. I turned 60 and suddenly became eligible rather than paying £110 per year for an annual exemption certificate. I now donate that £110 to cancer research + gift aid.

We're now along way from Reform though!!!
You are and you aren’t.

The logic of cancelling/clamping down any scheme that can be scammed is the main reason that people want welfare to be harder to claim.

Both hinder the real people in need of help.

sorry but I don't believe you - its something you have heard and taken as gospel. I am on quite a few meds (thankfully being over 60 they are free otherwise i'd be picking which think to treat this week ). There are 2 ways you can do this. One would be to order a repeat prescription every month at the surgery. If you get a months supply of a drug but are ordering replacements say every 3 weeks questions will be asked. In this day and age drug spend is closely monitored.
Second is you can order a batch prescription which is 6 months worth of repeats (this is what i do ) so every month a prescription is drawn up and sent to the pharmacy. They in turn text you when 28 days are up just and your supplies are exhausted so there is no "stocking up" of unused meds. If you are on a batch every 3 months you are called into the surgery or the pharmacy for a review of meds - anything causing issues - anything new cropping up - that kind of thing so anyone stockpiling unused meds would be found out and adjustments in supply are made.
I'm sorry but I have seen the "stash" with my own eyes. Both at a neighbour of mother in law as well as, much to my annoyance a relation of my wife.

You do know about the annual certificate for those on lots of medication? No need to choose which condition to treat really. Stop being a martyr. lol

This is why we need them to win - to expose themselves as an inept joke Party - could say I'd be sad for their victims but as they would have been installed by said victims anyway

how does the bell end think this would work then?

Fuck me this is going to confuse people -- today I find out Oxford genetic researchers are saying the Celts are actually from Iberia.

Whilst this seems an intriguing conundrum for a minister of deportations and attendant adherents, the real question it raises is now stupid can you be to leave the sunny peninsula for the dreary moors?

As an example that it goes on and people can be expectant,

When my gran moved out of her home to a car home , we found box after box of paracetamol, we asked her doctor and he said she was just on a rolling presctiption.
My gran said, well they are free so why not.
She also used to see her doc fortnightly. I took her once and she whilst there she booked an app for 2 week time. I said , but theres nothing up with you , she replied , well there might be by then.

Since dementia has taken her, she is on minimal meds and rarely has to see a doc

Had an interesting discussion with a neighbour last night. He had put up posters and a flag supporting Labour . So I asked him if he could tell me why he had supported them and what policies were in their manifesto . All he could say was they are going to stop the boats even though more are coming At this point I asked him how this affected him, as someone who hasn't worked for over 20 years, and scams the system for every benefit he can get (he's previously told me I am mad for working and offered to help me to also do this).
He had no idea that Labour were going to cut benefits and freeze pensioners and that in our area we have less than 1% immigrants.
Also asked him how they were going to stop the boats. Said he had "no idea ". I then told him that neither did Starmer.
This guy also confirmed he has never ever voted before. I'm sure this is the type of person Labour were targeting.

Yep, you would have definitely been thick to vote Labour.

Hilarious stuff from the purple ex socialists.

Yeah but er but black hole and ya know adults and stuff.

So who's being naughty here? You have directly replied to a post but have changed the body of that post to read "labour" when the original post was referring to "Reform". I'll copy the original below for clarity:

If I was richard the ref I'd be pretty pissed off that his post has been changed and then quoted!!

Happens all the time fella, saves retyping and highlights how ones own position can easily start to look a little awkward when the things you accuse one 'team' of applies to your own with very little change apart from the name itself.

It's a cleverer way of saying stones and glass houses.

Nothing clever about it. You're effectively changing someone elses view and post without their permission. If you can't be arsed re-typing to get YOUR view over, then don't bother. It's only fair to the original poster's view.

I find using the highlight function as above makes it pretty clear as to what is being referred to when replying to a long post.

I suggest you contact Ric as it's been done many a time by many a poster, I suppose sooner or later a drama queen would see their arse.

Your faux outrage has been noted and after a long period of reflection I'm struggling to care tbh, sorry old bean.

You have every right to be offended by such a nothing event but I'm under no obligation to placate you. Have a great weekend now.

just to educate the people whining about prescriptions.
total spend on pharmaceuticals by the nhs is 20 billion a year
even if 1% are fraudulent or whatever (it seems unlikely to be that high) thats 200 million
starbucks alone cheats on paying 50 million corporation tax per year by claiming it has to pay 100 million in royalty payments to its swiss holding company.
now think of all the multinationals who do similar.
any fraud in the nhs is insignificant compared to the loss of funding from these greedy companies
the focus should be on closing tax loopholes not turning regular people against each other.

its just the same tactics they use against imigrants and the welfare state.

the welfare state isnt shit because of immigrants and the nhs isnt shit because a very small number of people claim free prescriptions when they shouldnt

both are shit because the greedy rich corporations and individuals refuse to pay their fair share so the government doesnt have the money to fund them properly.

Also to stop the migrants.
That went well.

and to "train our own" - wife nipped into the repair garage we have used for years today for a review on a noise she thought she could hear on the car. Owner Pete says he may be closing down to concentrate on motor homes (his passion) because he can't recruit apprentices but he has lost his 3 European employees in the last 4 years. Hope it doesn't happen as they are good but reality bites.

Meantime i was back in hospital for more bloods today - the "crumbling" NHS took bloods for analysis Monday, I saw my GP to discuss results Wednesday and I was in hospital today and without those nasty immigrants I'd probably be in bed dying this week - on fact events this year without immigrants would probably have seen me dead already

Err you do realise the remainer status quo are still in charge don't you folks?

Priceless comments:-)

There is a new brexit thread somewhere for self healing sorry I mean moaning.
