You are and you aren’t.I agree, but as far as I'm concerned, it's heresay. Just like the couple across the road from him who "rent" their 2nd property to a family member who then claims the rent from the state. so the taxpayer is funding the mortgage.
Unfortunately free prescriptions drive bad behaviour. I turned 60 and suddenly became eligible rather than paying £110 per year for an annual exemption certificate. I now donate that £110 to cancer research + gift aid.
We're now along way from Reform though!!!
The logic of cancelling/clamping down any scheme that can be scammed is the main reason that people want welfare to be harder to claim.
Both hinder the real people in need of help.
