(That’s the giggs one ! U know u may have seen it on tv ?the one in their ‘treble’ year !
Are those attendances true or a wind up ?

I wonder why City couldn't a) increase the limit for tickets above 4 and b) reduced prices for kids.
I managed to convince two friends with young sons (both City mad) to join me and my daughter. Neither have ever been, so neither could buy for themselves.

Just think about it, three fathers, three young kids sitting together and having a blast, and multiple potential long term City fans.

But of course, unless I missed it, until late last week could only get four tickets.
I even tried calling up the ticket office - 15 minute waits.

Instead, only one friend / son is coming with me and kid.
Other friend / son sitting in another stand. Which is another issue, didn't ask him but I suspect he got it from "alternative" sources.

I went to one of those ticketing sites out of curiosity, loads of unsold tickets. And a £50 ticket, with fees would cost over £100 there, even with lack of demand.

So, again, why couldn't City say - fine, grab six tickets, and if you bring a kid it's £10?

Obviously a 100 quid day out is comparable to a one month 10 grand trip in America, you cannot be arsed we get it.
10 grand? Can do it much cheaper than that.

We’re going to be on the world stage with South American teams taking tens of thousands of fans while we take a few hundred because people like you can’t be arsed to save up a bit of money.

Pathetic.

For the Juve game, I’ve just found you a £530 flight to Orlando, a £152 a night hotel and a ticket for the match for £107.

Since you’re Mr Moneybags, you’ll have loads leftover for the final if we get there n’all won’t you?

The ticket revenue is split 6 ways and City don't have any say in the prices.

The clubs have in the past been able to says if they want concession prices or not, but not to set them. The prices for the semis have been the same for about a decade.

I think the Palace one was a couple of days after a Palace fan was killed in a pub car park before the first match and hardly any of them went to the replay.

3 days notice after just paying for one semi trip doing another midweek.

We took 1,000 to villa park not long after that with 6 months' notice.
I’m not saying there was anything wrong with that attendance but City do seem to get singled out over this issue.
I don’t care which team it was, this many Wembley visits, at these prices, at these kick off times, would be a struggle for ANY team to sell out and some understanding of that would be nice.

This empty seat shite was originally started by a couple of uTd fanzines cause they had fuck all else to try and beat us with cause we dominated them in every other area, the rag shrills in the mainstream media then ran with it and the myth then becomes truth and the fuckwit masses of course don't question it.

Nice bit of loyalty to the drive owner. I park in the same area every time but not the same house.
I'm using the Chiltern Line (probably from Warwick Parkway) on Sunday though as I sprained my ankle falling off a ladder a couple of weeks ago and want a shorter walk. I'll drive to the final if we play Villa as the Chiltern Line will be full of their mob.
When a parked at a lady's house near West ham she claimed its a £2000+ a year for renting her drive out. Most people in central London don't have cars.

They are replays 3 days after the original, and hardly surprising.
Still true

though ?
Replays or not the clubs mentioned are the ones slinging the mud who wouldn’t believe that their club would ever be envolved in such shite turn outs as the are the biggest and best and most supported clubs in history ?

Just like most Utd fans cannot comprehend that they actually once recorded the lowest home crowd for one particular top flight season for a competitive game ,and also the same season they was on average the lowest average attendance for any club in that season !something I think we (City ) could ever hope of emulating?

Is that ‘hardly surprising’ too?

That Villa game was a rearranged nothing game at the end of the season with nothing to play for ?

Hardly fair to compare it to a semi final replay ?

There's a large estate of semis west of Wembley Park Drive and many have long drives and parking permits. Easy money for England games, cup ties, concerts and stuff at the Arena. The one I used against the rags last season had four or five fans cars parked up.
Just Park and Park on my drive are the sites I use.
