Was a little in the fence with this lad but having watched him a little closer I’m not.

If MGW is considered an "attacking player" to replace KdB, I'd pick Eze over him.

If MGW is considered as an 8, who can also defend, I'd pick Reijnders anyway.
 
He is a frighteningly good player and in his prime. Only problem is, give 1-2 years of bedding in to the way we play and he is approaching our OAP list and we are trying to get rid of that.

I actually think Eze is now a bit older than I would like.
However the point is the quality of the player, not the quality of the team they are from and any Palace/Forest player will have played domestically against the same teams we have.
There have been any number of players who have stepped up to a higher level for us and other teams.
Since Peps arrival we have bought Stones and Ake from similar ranked teams. Liverpool have bought Robertson, Van Djik Henderson McAllister Jota and have twice won the league.

Arsenal have bought Rice , White Raya and are in the semifinals of the CL.

Hell Leicester had a former non league footballer leading their strike force when they won the title.
Look at the player not where they come from.

I think it’s naive to suggest we shouldn’t buy players from certain teams. Some players that’s how their careers go and shouldn’t always be judged where they are but how they play.

For every Yaya that came from Barca there’s a Kompany that came from Hamburg.

If the player is good enough they are good enough.

Take the loss mate. You said something foolish. Others pointed it out to you. Learn from it and move on with things.

Edit: If you were intending to use an ellipsis at the end of your sentence it is three spaced periods. There is a two dot period which is an "ellipsis lite" used to indicate a pause. The multiple periods you have used aren't part of any accepted rules of punctuation. By doing this, it makes you look uneducated and fails to add any gravitas to your statement.

Agree, another example being Kev and Wolfsburg, what equivalent would they have been in PL at the time.
