I would have said slim but he really isn't keen on playing the new guys is he, maybe there is a reason for that maybe not.
Marmoush plays, Gonzalez was possibly just a stop gap, is he really good enough for us going forward and the others are just kids

£60 million stop gap ! . If that’s the case hen our recruitment team want fucking . I think he is a very good player but pep will carry on picking his old guard either way .

I think he's a good player, not as good as we've had in the past but still a very decent squad player

I think Marmoush will be very good and I liked what I saw from khusanov but it wasn't enough games tbh. I do however think since Gvardiol(from memory) all the signings since have question marks against them as of today

Doku ?
Savio ?
Nico ?
Reis ?
Echeverri ?
Khusanov looked good
Marmoush looks good

That's seven players with a lot of the old guard due to leave we need a lot of these signings to come off or next season will be another in transition. Interesting times.

I struggle to see how it can be otherwise. It’s not simply a question of the newer signings finding their feet, as we’re now also reliant on others (Foden, Haaland, Lewis, Nunes) recapturing form and showing significant improvement and consistency. This season’s exertions are also bound to exact a toll on those who have been overplayed. Add a change at goalkeeper and we could be looking at the kind of rebuild that might not see us genuinely challenging on both fronts again until 27-28.

Watching Barca last night reminded me that we are very slow and ponderous in style. Even when we were winning and even when we had all our players, it is such a long time since we were genuinely awesome to watch.

I hope that Pep regains the required energy and inspiration to make us free-flowing. I honestly don't think he will though. I think he is exhausted which is completely understandable.

I think we'll improve greatly with the players back but I'd just love us to be fucking sexy again.

We haven’t really been that way since we did the domestic treble which is still a better team than last he treble in my eyes .

Silva plays much better in midfield, not a lot of creativity but can pass the ball forward there, I hope he continues to play him there and doesn't put him back on the RW where he's almost useless.

Starting Lewis and Grealish was a bit of a gamble since they've played few games recently but it paid off so hats off to him.

Found that box 4 midfield in the Crystal Palace game. It was clear that formation worked for us. But he went away from it against Everton only to return to it last week.

I feel like he has accepted this is his best formation of late. The names changed a bit, but the system stayed. Hope that's how he plays it rest of the season.

I don't think teams will figure out how to deal with this system this season. Forrest kinda adjusted well in the 2nd half, but we should be able to go with this system for the rest of the season.

Palace being the only risk as they've seen it once before.

Could you rewrite this post in English please?
