Seat Counters - 2024/25

We'll never convince non City fans the internet put paid to that. Millions of cretins worldwide, many of whom have never spent a penny attending a football game now have a voice and spout nonsense. Trolls who get pleasure....and some like the Goldbridge bloke money from doing so. It's the so called journalists spouting this nonsense I have a problem with.
The City fans doing so are just wankers and on here a fair few are just wind up trolls pretending to be City fans.

I'm seriously considering a return to Stamford Bridge colours if they don't start behaving ;-)

I actually think we have sold almost 32,000 tickets not 27,000 as some are saying but whatever it's still a great effort. That should have been Peps answer when asked the question by the shit stirring anti City journalists.
"Wow....so you're telling me we've sold 32,000 tickets for a game our fans have to travel 200 miles to get to, on a Sunday and when everybody is struggling financially?? Really? That's magnificent!"
I think that's based on the original 32kso less 5k.27k

Good guess but CB3 actually, although I gave up my season tickets / going to City matches a couple of years ago.

I don’t blame anyone for not going to any match. Wembley is an overpriced, overrated shithole in an inconvenient location.

If we happen to lose today, I'll accept full responsibility for not being there. I hope that makes you feel better.
Big love fella xxx

The clubs and ours in particular have had a big part to play in how fans view supporting a football club now and going to games. Years ago you picked your club, usually local to you and stuck with it, good or bad. It was affordable even if you weren't in a well paid job. Even kids could go with their pocket money or the few bob earned from a paper round or similar.
Now there is no loyalty shown by clubs to this kind of support. It's all about being a customer not a supporter, the matchday experience, making going to a game a once or twice a year event, usually the big games where if you pay the price you get a ticket. Now that is fine while you're successful but if future fans view going to football as a once or twice a year treat, similar to going to a concert, where you pay for hospitality to watch us play Real Madrid or Liverpool then it's a problem. Unsold tickets for a Wembley semi final or Villa at home on a Wednesday night will become the norm.

I think most attacks are on the can't be arsed mob rather than those who can't afford it.
So an attack on me then.
I'm not going because of the shite transport system, shite ground, shite k.o. time, shite FA who don't give a shite and a shite club who haven't even tried to help fans.

But being an adult who is capable of making his own decisions especially after sacrificing many things for City over the years, I don't give a shite.

Probably a better turn out than either Sheff or Brighton too.
I absolutely appreciate the reasons why some are opting out of this one, another valid factor to yours above is it's a school/work night which wouldn't have been an issue on the Saturday, other issues notwithstanding.
With all that take into account it's an impressive turnout anyway. Hope it boils the piss of all the snivelling cretin rag/dipper cry babies sat at home.
Were not going, 8 of us in total as we couldnt take the kids, didnt think it was fair to go without them. With school the next day being the issue for the youngest. Its a disgrace with the distance/time required to get there and back from Manchester, plus lack of trains Sunday night, that either we were the Saturday game or the kick off time was several hours earlier on the Sunday.

We cant be on our own not to be going due to this terrible decision!!

I swear TV have taken this decision simply to setup the "narrative" that we'll hear endlessly today.
It's an excuse to give us shit - when the sensible choice was to have the birmingham and London teams play today.

Exactly!! It’s not the first time they have done this either!!

The youngsters are suppose to be the future of the game. Well the Game’s arbiter’s have actively shafted the kids with this decision!!

Thats me. Earned my right to nor have to explain myself

Where as peps words are well meaning, the club club could also have looked at this and thought , “7th semi on the trot, 20odd appearance at wembley in x amount of years, can we do something here” but nothing ..

Many people I know struggle to afford it, it isn't a prerequisite for a blue to support the club at the cost of their families expenses and it isn't the position of any northern football fan to support semi finals all the way in London.

If a blue isn't lapping it up it's not on thumbs out well heeled blues to call them out IMHO mate.
Well fucking said
