PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Troy deeney on talkshite this morning said he’d heard it’s being announced next week
Fair enough. After other dates have been and gone, including the infamous one on this thread, I’m happy to take that as a new one to attach to. So, checks calendar, I’m taking that as before 5pm on Friday 9th May. Noted, cheers!

It's interesting that the charges only go up to 2018. The PL were investigating until 2023. If they'd found evidence of serial cheating by City why didn't they extend the charges to 2022? Or is the bulk of claim based predominantly on the hacked/out of context emails? No doubt we'll find out by the summer time....hopefully this year. The waiting is hell and heaven is waiting etc.
They are keeping 2019 to 2023 in reserve in case we are found not guilty. They can then say "aaah, but we have further evidence of cheating by City. We will be announcing further charges in relation to the above dates in the near future"

A chap at SB on Saturday said it would be announced on or after 5/5. He maintained there is a cut off date for any points deduction ( I haven’t been able to find any mention of date in the PL rulebook) is 4/5.
To be honest I have heard it all before so treat it with a shovel full of salt and had forgotten about the claim till the comment re Troy Deeney
