Allison gets a bad press from a lot of city fans due to his disastrous second spell between 79-80 . I personally blame chairman Swales more than him and it’s worth pointing out that he blooded 4 or 5 decent youngsters who played in the fa cup final in 81 when bond bought a few old heads ( which Allison stubbornly didn’t ! ) to help the youngsters develop . Bond apparently threatened to quit unless Swales signed Trevor Francis the following summer and it was a purchase that crippled the club as most of Allisons signings were cash brought in by selling others . Allison with mercer was great , very reminiscent of Clough/ Taylor at derby and forest . Neither of the two partnerships really flourished when they had to go it alone unfortunately.

Interesting. Personally I believe Allison was to big a name for a club like us but he did get us to our first FA Cup semi final, as a 3rd Division club. , a game we got kicked off the park by eventual winners Southampton.
Our club is now in a bit of turmoil off the pitch, with one owner, Textor wanting out but no one seems to know what the hell is going on. We have a shit ground but it is our home so we love it ! We have been trying for 10 years to build a new stand but with a corrupt bankrupt local Council and the Liverpool supporting London Mayor not assisting in any way, it still looks a long way off. So, maybe, a Cup win might get things moving but I somehow doubt it. We would have liked to have moved to the Crystal Palace National Stadium ( our ancestral home) but dealing with 4 different councils and the local NIMBYS proved a step to far. Any of you have any questions about the club/ support happy to help. If not, have a good day on 17th and don’t feel to bad when little Crystal Palace lift the Cup

Did anyone successfully transfer a semi final ticket to someone else
My mates not going and has more points than my daughter so was hoping I could use his in an earlier window?

My pal who sits next to me at The Etihad hasn't gone to a Wembley game since Wigan in 2013.
He is on the FA Cup scheme ( same as me) with similar loyalty points.
So I used his membership number to order a seat for Wembley on Sunday and just sent it to my wife's email address.
Simple to do,and I will be doing the same for the final,but it will be going to my brothers email address instead.

Yes you get an email then just forward the email and add to the wallet

When does a JCL not become a JCL? We all have to start somewhere/ some time.
They’ve got a few hundred fans putting a decent shift in to enhance the atmosphere. Fair fucks to them I say.

It would be good to have a sales criteria that included a window for fans who attended the semi-final.

Palace really are one of the most bizarre teams. Whenever I see them (ie normally vs City) they almost always look a decent side - pace, mobility, strength and goalscoring threat. Then you see the Villa game where they looked outstanding. And then you look at the table and they would appear to be bang average. It's the same every season!

We never feel bad whoever beats city , unlike our entitled neighbours in stretford . Yes I went to palace about a decade ago and it’s definitely a place in need of some TLC . Horrible to hear that local councils are not playing ball , ours in Manchester have been pretty good on the whole . Hope you get your ground sorted soon and may the best time win the final .

In fairness to them they've been going for 20 years. My brother used to live near their stadium back then and I remember going along to a Championship match and being sat near them.
 
In relation to the different criteria when do OSC branches normally receive their allocation. I ask because I’m in a STH and in the cup scheme so should easily get a ticket , however I’m going through a supporters branch to hopefully get me and my son a ticket together but it’s going to be a risk I imagine .
 
Can't see if this has been said anywhere, ticket prices look like they are going to be a £5 increase in each category compared to last year, so cat 4 tickets £50
