Always been the 'golden' boy, the annointed one, despite being not good enough. Shows the dearth of talent outside the top 2/3.

It’s probably time they reassessed their policy of one final per referee.

Back in the days of amateur referees, with no real hierarchy, it was fair enough.

But now you’ve basically got 3 or 4 elite referees doing all the big games, it seems silly that they have to go down the list for the Cup Final until they get to one who hasn’t done a final yet.

Can't see if this has been said anywhere, ticket prices look like they are going to be a £5 increase in each category compared to last year, so cat 4 tickets £50

Still not bad compared to £61 plus at home for Wolves on Friday night.

In relation to the different criteria when do OSC branches normally receive their allocation. I ask because I’m in a STH and in the cup scheme so should easily get a ticket , however I’m going through a supporters branch to hopefully get me and my son a ticket together but it’s going to be a risk I imagine .

Your OSC will receive however many tickets they want, so shouldn't be a risk aslong as your son is a Cityzen member atleast I think. We've been told they'll be on sale earlier to OSCs this time round but if you are allocated 2 you'll be fine.

Have we any indication of a kick-off time yet? I've gotten fed up of waiting and just winged it and booked my train. I'm assuming a teatime kick-off might be out as I think it will clash with the start of Eurovision, particularly if it goes to ET and pens so I think it will be earlier. Maybe not as early as 3pm but possibly 4pm

Have some people already received e-mails? I would have no reason to get one, since I'm not on the cup scheme, and only have about 3000 or so points.
Two years ago, to my utter amazement, a handful of seats for the rag final (the first one, the important one) came up on the OS literally about three or four days before. There was one seat up in the gods. I stared at the computer screen for about five minutes, hummed and hawed in my mind. My finances really, truly didn't make it advisable. I was already fairly overdrawn for the month. After about five minutes, I cracked. I thought, “Fuck it, I may never again in my life get the chance to see us beat the rags at Wembley, and furthermore in a way that will really hurt them — second stage on the road to the European treble”. It's only paper and iron, isn't it? Exchanging that for Gundo's goal — well, there's no argument really.
Would really like to get to this one. Got a good friend to put me up as well. I very well know that I'll be the last possible priority, short of it going on open sale (which it won't). I think two years ago many people had to make hard choices between Istanbul and Wembley.

I think most season ticket holders should get sorted if they want one, i have a season ticket with less points than you and I was eligible to get a ticket for last years rag final.

In fairness to them they've been going for 20 years. My brother used to live near their stadium back then and I remember going along to a Championship match and being sat near them.

@More in Hooe did I read some time a few years ago that the Palace Ultras was started by a few "new" fans who were Polish emigrees and adopted Palace as their club when they moved to the UK?
They occupied the Holmesdale corner as that was basically empty if my memory isn't playing tricks
