Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

It was always the Club’s intention to release new Season Tickets as part of the expansion of the North Stand. Whilst the seating configuration of the stand is yet to be finalised, we can confirm that it will be predominantly GA seating and that the majority of the additional GA seating capacity will be held by Season Ticket Members, through the release of new Season Tickets.
Where does it say 4,000 season tickets? How many will there actually be I wonder

They want you to commit to attending, reasonable if you ask me, you meet the criteria you can then get a gold the following season iirc
Sorry mate, but I completely disagree with that. Commit to attending - ie pay a ridiculous fee on top of your ticket price. Just get rid of it.

I guess because it's pro rata. The more you use it, the more the fee is reduced. Thus encouraging flexi gold holders to use it more and with the additional benefit of an 'upgrade' to a standard ST if they attend 16 games.
This was exactly my original proposal in 2019. The more you used it, the cheaper it got pro-rata.

Yeah, we all want games to be affordable and the stadium packed out, I’m pleasantly surprised by the announcement, might even take my seat for the start tomorrow

It doesn't give an exact figure but if the majority of an 8,000+ stand will be STs, then I would guess at 4,000+. In addition all the flexi golds that attend 16 matches will be able to upgrade to a regular ST.

I know I’m asking a lot of questions/ maybe not understanding it all, but will the majority of those seats be available for new season ticket holders or is it fans moving from other areas of the ground

From what I read we have around 36,000 season ticket holders, so we should be back at around 40,000 then?

Appreciate you might not know

I don't know but the way it reads to me is that whatever the increased GA capacity is, the majority will be STs.

Of course majority might equal 50% plus 1 or 100% minus 1 but it should be a healthy number of new STs.

I Understand what you’re saying, I’ve had a flexi for the little fella, it’s proven to be worth every penny, £75 upfront and £9 or £10 per game, worked out under £14 pg, easy to manage and led to a gold, if you’d offered me the £75 back I’d be delighted, the £75 can be spread out over 10 months. I would honestly implore anyone debating over whether they are for them to get one if they can

So, is it good news? Can my little one now get a season ticket?

I’ve been a ST holder since 2001.

If he’s got a junior membership, is strongly linked to your account, then he/she should be in with a good shout

I’ve opted to pay £15 monthly for the flexi gold charge this time. Wonder how the refunds work if you choose this way of paying!?

Can get a flexi next year (500 available) or a gold the year after (about 4000 available).
The way I understand it is the year after next would also be flexis but you can decrease the additional fee in line with attendance and then qualify for a regular ST the year after if you have attended enough games.

'The new Season Tickets to be made available for the 2026/27 season will be offered as Flexi-Gold Season Tickets, but should these Season Ticket Members attend 16 or more home Premier League matches in a season, they will have the opportunity to transition their Flexi-Gold Season Ticket to a Gold, Platinum or 93:20 Season Ticket.'

The devil will be in the details, which they will reportedly work out during the summer. This appears to be a hasty statement to ward off another demonstration tomorrow; it just goes to show that if you apply pressure, they will cede ground. It began with the disabled parking fiasco, then the season ticket price freeze, and now this. The biggest battle is still to come: matchday ticket prices.
