Liverpool fans' celebrations during title win caused earth tremors

Celebrations at Liverpool's title-clinching win at Anfield showed up on the Richter scale.

"Dr Farnaz Kamranzad said that while the tremors were small and not strong enough to be felt in the stands they were powerful enough "to leave a clear and lasting mark at Anfield".

"Every cheer, every celebration, leaves a trace beneath our feet, a seismic fingerprint of collective joy, written into the Earth's memory long after the final whistle," she said.

You know what? Is completely forgotten all about Liverpool winning the league. I thought it was going to be hell on earth as of last weekend, but it’s hardly been wall to wall coverage, infact the opposite.

I’m a bit annoyed RAWK have blocked non-members, because emu can guarantee there will be posts crying that nobody cares about them and how it’s been billed as boring.

I agree, the coverage in the press has been very muted and limited.

There has been far more articles in the DM following united's "stunning victory" last night than there has been over Liverpool winning the league.

Even though we often say the clubs are the 2 cheeks of one arse there's still clearly only one of those 2 clubs that the media really having their tongues firmly inserted inside their rectum.
 
Liverpool are probably playing the price in the Mail for the attitude of the supporters towards the country and the royal family. Expect their as popular with the Mail as Kneecap.

The only saving grace is that Spurs are also likely to make the final, so we should be spared the United playing for the whole of England bullshit.

The fact that one of two bottom-six clubs will now probably be contesting the European Super Cup, a few weeks after two (let's be honest) less than great sides, City and Chelsea, compete for the Club World Cup really isn't a good look for football.
The sport is on danger of going down the route of boxing, offering meaningless titles to mediocre talent for more and more money.

Don't bank on it, unfortunately.
Think that Big Ange has angered the media with his dismissive attitude towards them in his interviews.
Amorim is far more "media friendly" and he will no doubt have some link or past history with the GPC.
Although Spurs have their press/newspaper supporters, cannot think of that many telly pundits (especially now that Garth the Girth has been jettisoned) who played for them, apart from Hoddle ?
It will be a Trafford Tramps love-in with Wio, Wobbie & Scholsey going ballistic...
 
Is there a Premier League game tonight ?
With less than 90 minutes from kick off, haven't seen anything on the BBC Sports page mentioning tonight's fixture.
Think even the MEN webpage had a feature on Coop having a gig on tonight, clashing with the City v Wolves game.
Obviously the LFC Earthquake from last week has blitzed and buried the BBC Salford Sports department...
