Even though it might be throwing money away for nothing if you can take him in for free this season, you’ll probably need to have a bit of purchase history if you want a chance of getting him a flexi ST for next season, so tonight’s game and Bournemouth might be worth buying anyway.

Agree totally - although there ARE replacements queuing up but why should ST holders be responsible for making more STs available when we’re having a huge new stand built
 
It is a step in the right direction, new season tickets for next season. A promise to commit to a good chunk of new season tickets with the stand expansion, these were big points in our protests and issues. Putting aside a certain number of junior tickets to boot. What is left? Pricing? Season ticket and match day tickets are freezing so what more are we after?

Saw the post on X yesterday posted by @MCFCfoodbank about a wheelchair user who has had his ST rescinded, because he's missed 6 PL games.

I wouldn't take anything as gospel posted on social media without looking at the facts from both sides. People do tend to be 'forgetful' of certain facts that don't suit. I'd guess that someone on the MCFCfoodbank advised them to try for the exemption rules?

Another poster advised them they they would probably get an exemption if they contacted the club.

Very pleased with all the new changes.

Only thing left for me is the cityzen prices. Whilst I have a flexible gold, my wife and son have memberships. It’s silly money taking him to a game now unless it’s caraboa cup or fa cup games

This means that a number of Flexi-Gold Season Tickets will be made available ahead of the 2025/26 season for existing Junior Members who are connected to existing Gold, Platinum, 93:20 or Flexi-Gold Adult Season Ticket Members."

Does the above not help you, regarding your son then?
 
I suspect these letters are all computer algorthym produced, and that the club were either entirely unaware of the individual's circumstances, or the system had somehow broken. If after contacting them and explaining the situation, they still withdrew tickets, then I'd get annoyed with the club.

Automatically generated without doubt. There's no reason BTW for anyone who thinks they may be caught out by this, that they can't contact the club beforehand (if possible of course) and advise them of (say) an upcoming longish hospital stay. You don't have to wait until the ST card is cancelled and then rant at the club after the fact.

I wonder what numbers we're looking at here. Are there maybe 1,000 season card holders who wouldn't meet the 10-game threshold? If the majority of these contact the club with their individual circumstances that's quite a lot of extra work for a not particularly efficient ticket office.

I’m hoping so, but I’m guessing these will be limited and on a first come first serve basis. His membership has done 6 premier league games this season.

It’s actually U4’s go free, in case you get asked :) I was in the same boat last season, I contacted City fan support on twitter, who helped me out, next day I got an email saying I could apply for one

I’d say he’s got a great chance, given match prices I don’t think there’ll be many with more games in the junior bracket, just got to hope it’s not more than 249

Apply for a ST? I was told it was U5s on the phone recently. Never been asked, mind…

You’re bloody right! I’ve been duped into getting a ST a year early :) maybe it was because he turned 5 in March? Either way the fat little shit needed his own seat. I don’t think there take up was that great, there’s a lot of apathy for FG’s, I messaged fan support explaining our dilemma and they must’ve sympathised and sorted one out for us
