Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

Just not true - the UKIP Party - led by Farage and a Party a lot of whose members and councillors stood for Reform Ltd won control of Thanet Council in 2017 - did fuck all except bankrupt the council and as soon as 2018 there was a massive falling out all the UKIP councillors resigned from the Party in protest of the authoritarian way it was run and later that year Farage cut and run and scuttled off to form Brexit thats him and a lot of them in office and thats their track record. Chaos, inability to run a local council and everybody quits before the finger is pointed their way
So that's their track record.
A bit like saying the team that wins the opening game of the season in the 1230 kick off, are top of the league..unbelievable.

I'm no Reform fan, but FFS, this thread....

I live in Warrington and we've always had a labour controlled council, we have well over a billion of debt, we're essentially bankrupt, your thoughts please.

Not knowing the causes of that debt I can't make meaningful comment what I would say that looking it up Warrington has been in Labour control since 2011 and it has debts of £1.7bn against assets of £2.173bn so not bankrupt - they have a credit rating classed at BBB+ STABLE.

As I say UKIP did actually bankrupt a council within one year - your thoughts please.

Warrington hasn't had a set of audited accounts signed off in years so no one knows the true picture but the debt is down to catastrophic investments in banking and renewables thinking they could make a few quid. The residents just see a town in serious decline and the buck stops with the clowns in charge which is labour.

BBC just had a segment interviewing people on street and there reasons to vote Reform, honestly so many clueless thick responses, all they could muster was migrants, boats and ‘they’re all the same’, utterly depressing.
You have just summed up the intelligence of a large chunk of the electorate there

When old pensioners are getting hit with winter fuel payments being stopped, the NHS on its arse, the cost of living crisis, yet there are hotels being closed to accommodate illegals with free health care, dental care, food, heating, water, phones and allowances. It’s actually a fukin big gripe with people. I personally know the butcher that supplies the cresta court hotel in Altrincham with fresh meat for the illegals that are housed there. £6000 a week of tax payers money is the cost. That is just the meat order. It’s a fukin joke and an absolute disgrace that people like you think others shouldn’t be pissed off about it. Or that if they are? They are thick racist bigots! No pal! We are just sick to death of our resources being abused and our governments being complicit in that abuse.

You mean like the 2019 accounts recently signed off?

Anyway what are your thoughts about UKIP actually bankrupting Thurrock? I am giving you answers you are ducking my simple question with whataboutery responses

I don't have any thoughts on ukip or what they have done. This thread is about Reform or have you conveniently forgotten. Why are so many posters on here frightened of a new party with new policies and ideas considering the generational decline of the country under the two parties?

Look I agree the WFH allowance debacle was stupid - pain for little gain BUT just like there has not been 75,000 kids from fee paying schools flooding the state sector the WFH withdrawal has not resulted in the number of extra cold related deaths amongst the elderly. How do I know? If either had happened the Mail, Express and Telegraph would have been all over it. That doesn't make the policy right but the scaremongering was off the charts.

As for "illegals" what are they? Are you applying the Andrea Jenkyn definition which is incorrect in International Law or your own gut feeling? Anybody from anywhere can go to any country and apply for asylum. That application needs to be processed and if it doesn't clear the bar then they are here illegally and can be deported. In the meantime where do you propose they live? Do we not feed them? Do we not ensure they remain disease and illness free? What would your solution be?

They needed to interview you didn't they. You'd have sorted the thick cunts out wouldn't you.

I mean you know everything, dont you. I mean you probably would have been able to ask all the questions as well as answer them all.

Talk about tunnel vision and no political scope or range, you are that man. Unless people are 100% aligned with your biased and warped outlook and views they're just thick cunts aren't they...? Simple ain't it?

Oh dear what a sad pathetic response - troubled by being asked direct questions you run away - change your username to Brave Sir Robin. Suits you.

They’ve read their policies and listened to their MPs talk in parliament perhaps, as well as knowing a fair amount about their party leader.

I've not seen the clip, so i'm surmising that's probably 3 or 4 people shown, and a bit of BBC editing, to get people like you agitated.

It worked.

And then you use the "clueless thick" bit, because you don't like their point of view.

Again, I'm no Reform voter, but at least give them a chance. They can't be any worse than the Tories, or your precious Labour party.

It's quite simple to be honest, what some of you lot have to realise is alot of people are pissed off and I mean highly pissed off, and this will turn into the silent majority.
And as another poster has said, all I've ever known is tory or Labour, a change is a coming and I for 1 along with millions of others is fking glad

Pretty depressing to see Reform making these gains, but more depressingly Labour will probably move further to the right to try, and fail, to appease those voters. They should be binning the cruel PIP and winter fuel policies rather than twatting on about “the boats”, because they will never win that argument with the right.

Nail on the head. Land on a beach in a rubber dinghy in most other countries and off to prison you go but not here, the red carpet is rolled out. Millions are struggling financially and the government is rubbing their noses in the shit that's why people are pissed off.
If they want to live in the UK go through the process legally like my wife of 35 years did.
We have absolutely no obligation to these people. The convention with asylum is that it is sought at the first safe country yet they are travelling through multiple countries to reach the UK to live off our backs, that's why people are sick of our politicians.
