President Trump

This is a good post.

The 1st World War is complex, had Belgium not resisted and instead allowed the Germans to steamroll their way to Paris, it wouldn't have mattered very much what the Brits did, and certainly not the Yanks. At key moments in that war every one of the allies, particularly France, played a pivotal role, with the exception of the Americans. It was the threat of what the Americans might do had the war continued that played a far greater role than anything they actually did.

What the Germans did in occupied Belgium during the 1st World War was appalling, the mass killings, the slave labour, the deportations. Not enough people know the privations the Belgians suffered during that shameful period.

Reminded me of this for some reason:

Well the Russians think Ww2 started in 1941 and the Nazis were always their enemies. History can be re written in some places.
The Chinese reckon WW2 stated in 1931 with the Japanese invasion of Manchuria.

Pff the Americans were so brave to look away and remain in their "splendid isolation" even as unrestricted submarine warfare was putting their sailors to the bottom of the ocean lol, only to enter the war when they were kinda really forced into it trough things like the Zimmerman telegram or pearl harbor and the German declaration of war on the US 4 days after.

Americans the bravest? pff they have no references, atleast we Belgians have others who called us brave for what it was worth, be it Caesar of the Brittish empire, its not something we would need to self declare even if we wanted to. We were mainly brave in a fashion where we couldnt win but showed up and fought anyway, there is no inherit contradiction with the term brave and the term stupid. As to who was guaranteeing our independance and did the brunt of the fighting i dont think i need to lecture anyone here.
Indeed. Who can forget Belgium's immediate entry into the war, the Belgian sacrifices at the Bulge and on Peleliu, the timeless images of the Belgian flag rising over Paris and Iwo Jima, the tens of billions in free materiel provided by Belgian industry. Thanks for sharing this unbiased and mainstream view of WWII.

Agree, it's also worth noting re ww2 that German u boats were patrolling us waters, they would follow the ships until international waters and then torpedo them. From day 1 of the war the US were losing ships and people to German hostility but didn't join the war until the pear harbour attack at the end of 1941. 2 full years of pretending it was nothing to do with them.
In one way it was worse than that. The Germans/Nazis had a lot of support in the USA which was very active in keeping them out of the war.

Where do you read this organization discouraged the US from entering WWII? This is a direct quote:

"In the 1930s, the Bund amplified the anti-German feeling which lingered in the American public's consciousness from World War I and as a result, Americans believed that the Bund posed a threat to their way of life. Political leaders such as Roosevelt recognised the threat which the Nazi ideology posed to the West and they used the American people's fear of the Bund as a helpful tool in support of their efforts to steer the American people towards the possibility of war."

You should look at their rallies for example and read the debates from that time. Of course there was opposition to the Bund but it is not true that ALL “Americans believed that the Bund posed a threat….” Some did, some didn’t.
The Bund’s purpose included keeping US out of a European war.
The quote you used is highly partial.
Have you actually read the ref I quoted?

You could argue WW1 never ended until 1989 when the Berlin Wall fell. Wonder if there’s any timeline on the war on terror or drugs.

Reminds me of the great fairy tale "Fisherman and his wife".

Next time he wants to be God.
(Can't wait to see how AI will generate that...)

WH turned into a circus. Well deserved.

Not only does you argument make no sense, if anything you should apply that sort of critique to Donald Trump. There is nothing biased to my post, it touches a few matters that are simply true and known to be a fact, as a relevant critique to the post i quoted. Your post is 1 big fallacy.
