It’s a Cup final, the FA Cup final.
So many fans hacked off with this that and the other.
It’s a trip to London, 190 miles, on a Saturday, not the other side if the World FFS.
My Grandfather and his 3 sons hitch hiked around the country watching City in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
Give your fuckin heads a wobble, stop bleating, get your arse in gear, my God we’ve become a bunch of pansies!!!!!
*stands and applauds

Well said sir

Game goes to ET and pens, by the time the trophy lift has happened, if we win, it will be around 7.45 which leaves one possible train back to Manchester. Even losing in normal time means getting back to Euston for a choice of maybe three trains. Winning in normal time and staying for the trophy lift reduces the choice to two trains. Three o’clock kick off should be the norm as it always was and it should be the last game of the season.

This, of course, goes to show that we don’t have privatised railway, merely a subsidy giving system, lining peoples pockets!
If the railways were privatised, Avanti would be falling over themselves to put several trains on, on the 17th, as they’d make a pile of cash.
Like water, power, oil, gas, the post office, BT and BA, assets transferred to a few spivs, massive state subsidies to hide the recklessness and all with negligent benefit to the public.

The wider point though is why, in 2025, can you not get a train between London and Manchester after 2100 and why, even if you catch it, does it take 2hrs 40 minutes. Brilliant….

And how much were tickets back then? How would they have felt if the time for that game wasn’t known until 2 weeks before, world was a different place then thank fuck and fans weren’t treated like shit and asked to pay a fortune for the pleasure
There were also football special trains for every match.

Someone put a football special on last year
I contacted them last year and they said it was subject to getting enough numbers. Couldn’t take the risk.
Our travel partner isn’t worth a wank.
No flights to most euro aways. Not a fucking prayer they’d have the fucking gumption to organise a couple of trains. Wank

I won’t have enough points to secure a ticket and would only go if I could also get my son one. Let’s hope I don’t see any rubbish comments that City couldn’t sell their allocation
