Bicester is a good option too. They do group save tickets so you can get 4 tickets for £25 each and straight to Wembley Stadium station in an hour.

I drove to Stafford (from Warrington) last year and got the train from there. 50 min drive, parked on Tesco and 1hr 17 to Euston. They have a train back at 9pm.

it is and I totally agree but in a year he will have forgotten all about Gran Canaria. In 50 years he will still remember his first cup final with his dad! I remember 81 like it was yesterday.
I get that mate I really do but I can't justify that price for one day. He's only just started to get into football over the last few months (he's 11) plus I don't live with him so if I offered he the choice I'm sure he'd take a week away with me plus my last holiday was in 2022! I'll speak to him later about it

Thanks for this bud. I have just booked a return using this route for £54.

Can get Stourbridge to London for £60 for 2 Adults with a Chiltern duo ticket.

Massive FREE car park at the station.

Can do the drive in less than 2 hours if you have a Driver, once you leave the motorway It's a piece of piss, no hold ups.

They never check your train coming home, just herd you on.

Was thinking of taking my lad as he's never been before and it's half term that week.

Doing some quick maths for tickets, trains food ect it'll cost me about £550.

For that price I can take him and me to Gran Canaria for a week as I have family who Iive there so free accommodation, cheap flights and we watch the game in the sun and I'll spend less than £500 in a week and get a decent holiday.

Football pricing is on its arse and it's near to breaking point
If he’s never been before - how would he qualify for a ticket ? - regardless of price

DISGUSTING !

And yes, those are ‘all’ City tickets … WTF

They are not club tickets though

Bollocks mate, no disrespect.

Drive to Brum or Stourbridge, Chiltern trains to London £50.

Match tickets top tier £80

Take some food and buy a bit for a treat.

Less than £200 for an unforgettable experience for you both

I've just seen that the cup final is kicking off at 4.30. Apparently the BBC wanted 3pm but ITV wanted 5.30pm to maximise on advertising revenue.
Wouldnt it be a good idea if fans got together to organise a boycott of ITV and encouraged everyone regardless of who you follow to watch on BBC. If advertisers realised that nobody was watching their product being showcased they would pull out or want a reduced fee and you would find ITV scurrying back looking for a 3pm kick off. This would be for all fans and the power of the fan would defeat the tv companies

just seen one person who has not done a home or away game in years score 3 tickets for the cup final through their branch, and numerous others who do no games whatsoever all get tickets, no stress, no worry, asking for the lowest price, this circumnavigation of getting final tickets is obscene and very unfair.
This is the thing that annoys me regarding OSC. There’s a few who got tickets on our who haven’t been at all, all season!
I think they have to bring a criteria within the OSCs to make it fair. I got one through my OSC but I’m a season ticket holder who has also done FA cup games including the semi this season

96 million viewers worldwide watched the FA cup final last year, TV companies want to maximise their profits so alas fans travelling to and fro come a very distant second in consideration.

No train option for travel this year through the club?! That’s very disappointing.
Never is which is really disappointing.

Considering we were one of the last to run football specials through the travel club with British Rail I don’t understand it.

Dippers have trains for their Wembley appearances (not as often as ours) and considering they will NOT have as many fans travelling from North to South as we would have, it's bizarre.

I reckon It's poor advertising, when people have tried to arrange trains and they never sell out, they get cancelled!

If the Club ran them and advertised as a travel option they would sell out.
Although the no drinking that would be applied would put a lot off. (This in itself is a fucking joke and should be challenged, no other charter trains operate a no drinking ban!).

Not getting why people are balming eurovsion, that went in favour or a 30m kick off.

ITV are the cunts in all this, god help us when TNT take over next year

Game goes to ET and pens, by the time the trophy lift has happened, if we win, it will be around 7.45 which leaves one possible train back to Manchester. Even losing in normal time means getting back to Euston for a choice of maybe three trains. Winning in normal time and staying for the trophy lift reduces the choice to two trains. Three o’clock kick off should be the norm as it always was and it should be the last game of the season.

They’ll have at least one train on standby incase it’s looking like everyone might not fit on the last advertised one, or be back in time for it.

Who’s bragging about it you bad nob head? I have a mate who has England season tickets and he wanted me to have them for the final as he supports West Ham. Unfortunately they are in the Palace end.
You shouldn't have taken them, unless you support Palace!

And it's Knobhead ;-)

Tell your mate he's a fucking **** for funding those FA wankers.
